Payments should be made on a prorated basis.  You didn't make any agreements that some debt would be senior and some would be subordinate.   If you have $100 and owed $4,000 then you are repaying 2.5%.  You repay each creditor 2.5% of what they are owed.

I have a list made with names, amounts and addresses. I don't understand the whole hash thing which is why I didn't do it I didn't want anything to get messed up.

I said I don't have all my money in my account right now and payments would probably be by $500. I will send him a check once I get paid.

BitMan its 9:50. You can't go to bed yet.  Are you going to send D&T a check for $500 tomorrow?  Here are the payments.

 $500.00
$1,095.30 25.36%    $126.80
$997.00    23.08%    $115.42
$600.00    13.89%    $69.46
$408.76    9.46%    $47.32
$390.50    9.04%    $45.21
$316.50    7.33%    $36.64
$190.00    4.40%    $22.00
$100.00    2.32%    $11.58
$60.00    1.39%    $6.95
$58.00    1.34%    $6.71
$50.00    1.16%    $5.79
$30.00    0.69%    $3.47
$22.90    0.53%    $2.65

If you have google docs I could upload an excel spreadsheet so you can do that math on your own.

Normally we use things like bank wires or cashier's checks but if TheBitMan is looking to make a series of smaller payment we can be flexible and use some payment methods which work better in the hundreds of dollar range.

Options:
Cash deposit.  Only works if he has a Bank Of America branch nearby.  We will get him the deposit information.  He makes a cash deposit at any Bank Of America branch, sends us a photo/scan of the deposit receipt and we can disburse the funds to all creditors in BTC the same day.

Green Dot MoneyPak (up to $500).  He purchases a pak loaded w/ up to $500 from any retailer sends us the PIN and scan/photo of receipt.  We can disburse BTC the same day.

USPS Money Order.  Slower because it needs to be mailed and we will wait 1 day for it to clear but it still provides a relatively fast and low cost repayment option.

As I indicated up thread we will handle the repayment without any fees.  The BTC equivalent of each creditors repayment would be sent based on the MtGox last price at the time we send the repayment.  It will be good to see Bitcoin community fix a problem for once.  We just need a list of creditors, their bitcoin repayment address, and the amount owed ... oh yeah and some funds.

This is the problem with youth today.  They just don't want to except responsibility.  How convenient that once he got to a place where a reasonable payment plan relative  to funds available to him and he could not make any more excuses  he just  signs off to goes to bed.   He has no intention of paying this dept.

I also was on the phone with Paypal tonight.  His account is unverified and paypal claims he's made no effort to try to verify his account and as far as they are concerned these are all fraudulent payment and there will no funds released until he follow through with their requests with he as already admitted several time in this thread he is not able to do (taxes and invoices).

Any one else who would like to be party to the claim please PM you paypal charge backs with transaction numbers.  It really doesn't make any sense (to me) to wait any longer.

Alot of people like myself don't trust you because we feel that you lied to us by not disclosing your age.
It is your legal responsibility as an adult to verify that you aren't dealing with a minor. Failure to do so is on you.

Anyone who did business with TheBitMan knows his real name.  And that name seems to be only connected to an individual who graduated from Community College in 2009.  So I highly doubt we are dealing with a minor.

Do you have an money in your savings account?
I won't say the full amount but it's less than half of what I owe everyone. It's hard to tell my parents I have to use all my money to pay people on the internet back..
This is why I am asking for patients, with my summer job money some of my savings and a smaller loan than originally asked this can happen pretty quickly.

I have Paypal Collections Department Calling me a couple times a day, wanting the money. Since my Account is in the negative.

I have run out of patients, maybe because i'm the second highest owed($amount) that I know of.

If it was $20 or $30 I wouldn't care, if I was $100 I would wait. But its $600 dollars in my case.

Alot of people like myself don't trust you because we feel that you lied to us by not disclosing your age.

I would have never done any business with your if I knew you were 16 at the time, the age required for paypal is 18 and I feel you committed fraud.

Oh well I learned my lesson I ask everyone before I trade now, How old are you? can you prove it?

RandomQ and I share a very similar perspective. I will come up front and state that the $408.76 is me, and when I came to you for a trade, I judged you with all I had at the time: your username and your reputation on the forum.

Eager to see the outcome of this claim, as I am sure that he will be unable to send you the funds. This should get him moving/thinking and he might be able to finally see the gravity of the situation.

Random-

I hope you prevail in this matter, obtain a judgement, use a Sheriff's seizure and sale and throw this scummy little piece of work, and his parents out on their asses to freeze in a snowbank. Just for the record, I called this one on June 7th. This punk is a liar from the word go, and went into this entire enterprise thinking he was smarter than the entire world, and that he was the one genius who could finesse a PayPal scam. It's too bad a small claims judge can't also sentence him to stay away from the computer for the next couple of decades.

Good luck.

TheBitMan contacted me for funding instructions using our deposit account.  The "threat" of a lawsuit may be more effective than the actual filing.  I would recommend waiting to see if he will make a deposit.  If he deposits $500 all creditors would receive roughly 12% of what they are owed.  Obviously each creditor needs to decide for themselves what the best option is.

My goal has always been for all of the creditors to be repaid in the most civil fashion possible.  If TheBitMan has finally seen the light, and will finally make a commitment to repay, I'm glad to wait.  I'm also glad to subordinate my debt to others who obviously need it more then I do right now.  And I'd glad to let D&C choose how to subordinate my shares.

However if timely payments are not continued (we should decide what constitutes timely payments) the next steps would be:
1.  Contact the parent/guardian and inform of our intent to file a small claim and if no response or not effort to may repayment,
2.  File the small clalim.

Even without RandomQ the small claim would represent more then  1/2 of the funds owed.

I'd call the Cyberpolice.

Give this kid a break, he's trying to repay it - or at least it seems so.
