I made a calculation,

current BTC price 330$

A faucet gives 250 btc per 15 mnt at best

So that's 24000 satoshi per day

720000 per month

8640000 per year

Thats worth 30.8534400000 USD given the current price.

So my question is?

Is it worth it?

And even if I try to use more faucet I don't see any options. Because I don't know any faucet that gives more than 250 per 15 mnt with 100% guarantee. Suppose you have found 3 or 4 sites and collect BTC from there every time, then you can get around 120 USD wort BTC. Is it still worth of going all that trouble just to earn 10$ per month?

Where is this faucet?  Tongue

Faucets are not worth it at all, perhaps great for newbies trying to get some free coins, but that's it.

Too much effort for only dust as reward. It's up to you, if you want it, and have the time for it, then do it Smiley

What faucets are good at is at spreading bitcoin adoption. People are quite ready to install wallet when they get free satoshies. IF they then start learning more of Bitcoin, they stay if not, they soon forget about it, after they calculate their earning.

Well what if you were able to do 20 faucets at a time and each one provided 200 sats?

20*200 = 4,000 per 15min

4 * 4,000 = 16,000 Per Hour

8 * 16,000 = 128,000 Per Day(8 hour day)

365 * 128,000 = .4672 per year so roughly $150 dollars

Is $150 dollars worth your time for 1 full year of grinding out faucets like a mad man, no, probably not.

Not unless $30 can buy you a decent living standard and thats not possible in any country.   Just buy some bitcoin is so much better then grinding faucet.

I'm sure he meant to say satoshi and not btc. But don't forget once you take out the fees, you can see the real amount that you actually made. Unless it's running on bots

Only for a bot capable filling the captcha  Smiley

The captcha used on most faucets will generally not be able to be solved with a bot. I also think that some captchas will say that you failed to solve it regardless of if you get it right or not.

The OP is also incorrect as to how much you can earn with a faucet. His assumption is that you can find a faucet that pays 250 satoshi at least once every 15 minutes, however not all faucets pay this much and there is no guarantee that you would be able to be able to earn this much.

Definitely not worth it. I just wish everybody would do this calculation.
It would put faucets out of business or encourage them to pay more.

short answer, not worth it.

faucets are not suppose to be used by people grabbing at them as a means of income, so never expect to make an income out of them. instead think of a faucet as a means to grab a small donation so that you can then use bitcoin and learn to send and receive transactions.

if you want to actually have a full bitcoin or even more, then these are some proper options:
Work for a company that pays wages in bitcoin
mine bitcoins by investing a large amount in mining
simply buy bitcoins

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
