This sounds like they're trying to build the meshnet we've been buzzing about here in the forums. Thoughts?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Sounds like meshnet is just the beginning. They want to re-invent internet addressing.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

Think about it, Decnetralized and Encrypted versions of TCP/IP, DNS.... This would give project SAFE a run for its money. Hopefully, since its gonna be an open-source project, we're able to find a way for the namecoin DNS to be integrated into it.
