Major PandaBank Patch (v3.0.0) Preview

Pandacoin (PND) Development Team is proud to reveal our upcoming first major update to PandaBank which highlights our intention of once again redefining how cryptocurrencies should be – simple and easy to use. By focusing on providing an optimal user experience for those that are new to cryptocurrencies, we will be setting the benchmark on how all main ‘crypto-wallets’ should function in the future, in order to truly obtain a global mass appeal.

PandaBank will be the world’s first cryptocurrency main storage client with the ability to switch to a lightweight version of the client, ‘PandaBank Lite’. Pandacoin’s main storage mode will be called ‘PandaBank Hybrid’, integrated with ‘Instant Sync Technology’ (IST) and ‘Rapid Blockchain Download’ (RBD); allowing new Pandacoin users to immediately synchronize with the blockchain and see/utilize their Pandacoins right after installation of the client, and reducing the time to download the entire blockchain from 4 to 24 hours, down to 5 to 15 minutes.

Patch v3.0.0 is scheduled for full release within 7 days.

Well you have the added convenience of having your cryptos in one place and the same addresses, say if you are travelling to another location where you have bandwidth restrictions, without needing to download and install multiple clients, all at the touch of a button.

Not to mention that our users benefit from being able to keep the same user friendly 'Crypto-Banking' interface that they have grown to love.

But the focus of this update is more about the ability to immediately utilize your crypto without waiting for the blockchain to download and sync with the network. But we've dramatically improved the speeds of this as well.

This is going to be useful for all proof of stake based currencies, say if blockchain files inevitably get bigger in the gigabytes, users opting to use a lightweight client will not be earning interest or helping to secure the network to prevent 51% attacks.
