I'm missing some funds to run this campaign so I have started a campaign on bitcoinstarter, however time is running out
So I'm starting a thread here too

This is actually a bitcoin themed 18th birthday party for my friend with low funding

Promoting bitcoin and helping someone in the same time Smiley

Pledge rewards are as follows

Quote
Pledge 0.01000000 Ƀ or more
Our sincere gratitude + 1 photo from the party

Pledge 0.05000000 Ƀ or more
5 photos from the party

Pledge 0.10000000 Ƀ or more
Every single photo from the party, and we will take pictures of everything!

Pledge 0.20000000 Ƀ or more
Videos from the party! We will record everything Smiley

Pledge 0.30000000 Ƀ or more
All photos and videos from the party!

Pledge 0.50000000 Ƀ or more
We will announce anything you want at the party, for example Sponsered by [your name here], or anything you want, not necessarily related to the party, we will record it and send you the video! + You get all the rewards before this one

Pledge 1.00000000 Ƀ or more
You get all previous rewards + name a poster or a picture, or anything you want, and I will print out a dozen of those and put them up all round the party room!

With recent news, the planned amount won't be enough since the room will cost x2 and striptease x1.5 then the initial amount
but I'll try to manage the difference between the two

To not write too much here, everything is written there

Please review and help Smiley

Whatever happened to "live within your means"?

I'm quite modest

I don't buy branded products, I have a 4 year old phone, 5 year old PC and I don't buy a new one, because I figure I don't need it

but this one time I decided to spend some money,it's an 18th birthday (coming of full age, not 21 here, it's 18 Cheesy) happens only once in a life time, it's something people should remember Smiley

and then bitcoin falls 50% and fucks up my plans Cheesy

Save up some money and throw him a kick ass 19th birthday party.  It, too, only comes once in a lifetime!   Wink

Or for his 18th birthday party you could give him an album of starving children in Africa, and his gift could be realizing how well off he is.

You don't need drugs and prostitutes to enjoy a party, esp if you can't afford them.

You don't need drugs and prostitutes

who said anything about drugs and prostitutes?

any birthday in your life shouldn't be as special as the 18th one, or the 21st in the US

that's why I'm doing this for him Smiley

If this was a real bitcoin party, you wouldn't have to gather money.

I don't understand

I'm going to be the only bitcoin user there Cheesy

it's good advertising towards people who don't know what bitcoin is

pledging for money? why not try to do some errands around your community and ask for payment. I think that would be better than asking people some btc/.
