I need more hash power right now, instead of energy savings.  Looking to trade my Asus 7970s (701mhash at 67 degrees) for more 5850, 5870 or 5970.

Thanks.

I would do...

4x5850 for one 7970
3x5870 for one 7970
2x5970 for one 7970

OR

3x6990 for two 7970.

Thanks.

I'm definitely interested in working something out, but I do think 4 5850's might be a bit much do you have something against non-reference cards? I use no active cooling for my rigs strictly outside air and my highest card was 74.5 and that was with 90 degree outside temps. Usually they run in the 60's

These cards are absolutely awesome. If I had the funds I'd definitely be getting a pair!

4x120 = 480. Doesn't sound too unreasonable for a 7970.

Except that you can buy a brand new reference model 7970 from newegg for that price...

True.  But I (would be) getting four cards that have been mined for months on end, and could die at any time!

If they weren't DirectCU model I guess you would of had more customers.
It's not that the DirectCU model is bad (we it kinda is for mining), it's just that it has VRM temp issues. Seems like something is wrong with the batch that Asus made.

But besides that best of luck selling the cards

I get 701 mhash steady out of them at 67 degrees, you can remote in and look if you'd like Smiley

Still looking for offers.  I need more hash power right now instead of energy saving.

Someone, lets make a trade.
