Its a buzzword for certain alt coins that use the blockchain. Similar to web 2.0 or industry 4.0 there is not a single product or software its refering to

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

this is the first time I`m hearing something about an update to bitcoin...

I think its more of a marketing buzzword to get people hyped for their specific goal. Not bitcoin itself.

yes, it is a concept.  Thinks like Counterparty, Etherium, Colored Coins, Bitshares, etc. are Bitcoin 2.0 concepts.  See this video

Doesn't mean anything in particular... Just a general term to describe altcoins with added features or protocols that add features to bitcoin itself...
Features like native support for decentralized exchanges etc...

The wallet needs a lots of updates tho, it's incredibly dull looking. Could do with some more content and faster downloading of the blockchain.

Okay, so 2.0 will be like a new crypto currency?
I was thinking its kinda the concept "moneypot.com" is using already that you value 0.000001 as 1 coin.
I think thats a great idea and makes 1 bitcoin look like alot.

Am I missing something here? If we value 0.000001 as 1 coin to make 1 bitcoin look a lot more, then a sat would be worthless.

The reference client is not a wallet. It's a full node implementation + a wallet. If you just need a wallet try one of the lighter clients like electrum or multibit etc...
