I think the cpu coin list here is fairly accurate: http://cpucoinlist.com/

I'm surprised MOTO is not on that list.

The list is out of date.

Check out AppleByte (ABY)

There is bonus added to the pool that can double the amount of coins paid to our CPU miners, who mine using the AppleByte wallet's built-in pool miner

It will also increase payouts to GPU miners.

Newbie friendly instructions to set up the pool miner are:Mining Get Started

Here are the technical details, if you are interested:

We pay a bonus to every account in the pool. The bonus is the same regardless of the hash power you use to mine. We pay the bonus on every block mined by the pool.

So for example:

Miners using the wallet on a typical laptop get 10 - 15 khs, and can mine about 100 ABY per day
The largest miners on the pool get 10mhs, and can mine about 40,000 ABY per day.

Our bonus is the same for each size of account, so for example if the bonus is 0.2 ABY per block (and the pool mines 500 blocks per day, each account gets a bonus of 100 ABY per day.
For our miners using the wallet to mine, that can double the number of ABY to 200 per day.

The bonus is paid by the AppleByte Foundation, and is not taken from anyone's share.
These estimates are approximate & can change based on the number of miners.

Happy Mining!

Nope, fuck coins that support both. =3 Especially those that reward GPU miner even more xD

I mine RIC on ypool.net

Riecoin is too slow.

Jackpotcoin / JPC.. i only cpu mine it and started on coin launch

at launch my Radeon 7950 did 2MH/s and my i7 CPU does over 500kh/s

Whats the rate of coins at 1mh/s ?

Ill be checking out the others suggested start ups soon. Thanks guys

I mine RIC on ypool.net

Riecoin is too slow.

hi! could you please specify how is it slow?

is 2.5 minutes between blocks slow?
is the client slow? takes too long to sync or to start-up?
is mining relatively slow on your specific hardware?
money income is slow?

if it's slow it may be possible to do something about it...

thanks and regards,
gatra

Money Income is slow. Rather mine cryptonotes or other cpu ONLY coins

GPUs ruin the point of CPU only coins

I've been mining Aptcoin. Apparently the N-factors change per block making it ASIC resistant. A little bit of an interesting spin from what Vertcoin's idea of scheduled N-factor changes.

Also you can mine from within the wallet, I thought that was interesting.

this launched like 3 hours ago, who knows what it'll turn into but the algo is cpu only at the moment. I'm sure there will be minerd, then gpu miner to follow in a few days you know how these things go, but for now its cpu only.

BSTY coin, yescrypt algo.
my 3930k at 10 threads gets like 800 hash per min..

That's what I really dislike in the coin when devs changed it from cpu-only coin to gpu mining coin.
IMO, if you've launched coin with cpu mining than don't switch to gpu mining .

you cant exactly control it, there was a host of coins like heavycoin and a run of new weird algorithms a few months ago, every one was cpu only until SGminer developers/forkers made it GPU mineable.  any new coins listed here will likely have a gpu miner sooner than later. it takes some variable to be harder than a gpu can handle that a cpu has no problem.. Ramhog used by the defunct shinycoin started up 16gb ram threads of scratchpad to keep itself cpu only while it lasted..  but its not a copout that a cpu mineable coin becomes gpu mineable though progress.

edit* add props to the other mining software devs asidefrom the SG team and those who fork them

also... having something cpu only for a start at least allows participation by cpu miners who otherwise would skip a coin.  i feel like this adds to a healthy distribution

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

I agree with the last statement about the possibility to join cpu mining coin at the beginning. Starting with cpu mining coin can attract people who dislike gpu mining and that's good for promotion

tired of identical bitcoin forks? try out BCN - no ASICs, no transaction tracking https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512747.0

Just to give and update.  GlobalBoost-Y is still cpu only and we have not seen a gpu miner yet.  We have grown a lot and would love to have more cpu mining supporters.   Grin
