Just go and try to reverse the transaction. More time you will give, easy for him to run away your money. Why the hell you did not used Escrow.

To be fair thus far he has sent .1 and contacted me knowing there would be a little bit more of a delay. If I don't get all in an hour or so then I will contact paypal. I knew this was a risky trade but paypal would only allow me to debit 400 a day so I had an odd amount I wanted to be even in my wallet.

Chargeback. There should be a button or something...
Nobody honest will sell you bitcoin for paypal, because you can chargeback. Do it as fast as you can.

Escrow will do NOTHING when using Paypal, I don't know how many times it has to be said and proven.

Can someone care to explain, how FishnChips will benefit from this trade? If he has sent 0.1 BTC and xstudly can chargeback, so essentially FishnChips will get nothing. Then what was the point on not sending bitcoin here?

I think (not sure) that if you immediately withdraw money (so he sent 0.1 to gain time) the buyer can't chargeback

Your account will just become in the red and minus the amount that was chargebacked. You could maybe use a throw-away account and then quickly send the money to another then withdraw it, maybe that would work.

Specially, using a throw away account can let you purchase anything digital off the internet immediately, and then it would be no longer your trouble. btw that user has been active today, so op ,you might want to message him and see how it ends.

Escrow will do NOTHING when using Paypal, I don't know how many times it has to be said and proven. Escrow doesn't protect the seller of BTC. It protects the buyer / the person sending the paypal payment. If you're going to sell for paypal, why not use escrow? It's not like them sending first will prevent a chargeback. Better off staying away from paypal unless both parties can be trusted. 99% of the people selling BTC to new accounts for paypal are going to scam by not sending the BTC after receiving payment.

Better off staying away from paypal unless both parties can be trusted. 99% of the people selling BTC to new accounts for paypal are going to scam by not sending the BTC after receiving payment. Because it's a double protection for the buyer using Paypal, the seller can still be scammed. It really defeats the purpose of escrow where both buyer and seller have some protection. So I say again, escrow is worthless where Paypal is involved.
