Depends on the proof, but essentially yes.

- The 1 troy ounce, .999 fine silver proofs are limited batches of 50 pieces. The inaugural batch (comes with an embossed C of A identifying the piece as 'Batch 1 - x of 50') are $75 each. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin, Peercoin and Cryptogenic Bullion are all in inaugural batch so only 50 of each exist.
- Peercoin w/ 24k gold highlights is also Batch 1 except the price point is higher because of the gold. These are $100.
- Primecoin is Batch 2 (Batch 1 sold out). This is a batch of 50 as well and comes with C of A identifying them as such. These are $65 each.
- DOGE proofs are a slightly different business model as they are 'Do it Yourself' and come with a hologram. They come in either copper or nickel - 100 of each were made. They do not include an address, private key, presentation case or C of A. These are $15 each. If making a bulk purchase of 10 pieces, the cost is $100.

All pieces come unfunded per US regulation and are left to the customer to fund.

Quick note for holiday customers.

* US shipping is quick via priority mail (2 business days).
* International shipping however is a completely different animal. International shipping is done via registered USPS mail (required for metals). This service is trackable, insured and very secure as the package travels under lock and key and must be signed for whenever changing hands (the Hope Diamond was shipped using this service). The downside is that it takes 2-4 weeks on average and can be slower during the holiday season. So if you are an international customer purchasing for the 2014 holidays, please be mindful of this.

As other coin manufacturers will tell you, there is quite a bit of overhead costs that have to be factored into the final product price (specialized off-line computer equipment for security, design and creation of coining dies, labor, holograms, etc). Unfortunately one of the trade-offs of running such limited batches of 50 proofs is that these overhead costs have to be absorbed by less coins. A benefit however is the rarity as opposed to a less expensive piece from a larger line.

Hopefully at some point in the future we can run some less scarce lines in order to bring the price point down, but one can argue the residual value will also be lower on those.
