Hello elephantas1, thank you for the question. The reason for the increase in price over the cost of the silver alone is due to all of the overhead expenses that are included in the production and manufacturing of these proofs. Each proof has to have custom dies made for stamping the silver. Design and creation of dies is labor and time intensive and must be done from scratch for each line. Additional to this is the cost of the holograms, the custom stamped leatherette presentation cases, the airtight protective capsules, the custom stamped paper sleeves and the custom embossed Certificates of Authenticity. Also adding to the additional overhead expense is the cost associated with purchase of all computer equipment that is kept offline and used for private key association only. Finally, add to this that each line is composed of an extremely rare and limited batch of only 50 pieces leaving all overhead costs to be absorbed by the small production but exclusive line. These are rare collectable pieces which very few people will be able to own as part of their collections.

You actually made physical Worldcoin, Litecoin, and Namecoin pieces? Sorry to say,but those 3 altcoins that you chose are going nowhere(The others, Dogecoin and Peercoin are decent though still not worthwhile), have no development on them atm, so they're pretty much abandoned/useless.

If you change the altcoins that you're making physical coin pieces for, I might buy.

Hi darkota. Well I did make a Worldcoin proof, but it had an error so was never sold. Litecoin and Namecoin, guilty as charged.

I do hear what you are saying about future prospects for my selected lines, hard to tell what will survive in the long run. When I started this business and made my product lines, the crypto landscape was quite different and has since become flooded with alts. I doubt I will add any lines or mint any further batches (but who knows).

Regarding the selected lines, my target audience was always the collector of rare precious metal pieces, so even if some of the coins that have been created in the physical form do not survive or thrive in the crypto form, I think the collectable nature of the proofs themselves is still enhanced as they do mark a historic period with a pretty cool collectable that only a few will be able to own. To each his/her own though. Thanks for the advice though.

By the way, 1 more of the physical Bitcoin Proofs was sold so only 18 left in inventory.

Received my full 9 coin f*D set a few days ago.

Package contents were super securely packaged. The coins and the CoAs in the leather holder look awesome (with the exception of the gold plated peercoin, where the plating isn't 100% perfect but that's a common problem so not a big deal).

Unexpectedly my purchase even came with a free Bitcoin themed t-shirt! 

All in all great coins for a great price, especially with the % off there is no reason not to purchase!
