If it is too good to be true then it probably isn't. LBC escrow is used a lot by scammers these days.

how you can scam with LBC ? its not secure place anymore? That's pretty easy. Scammer will ask you to send to escrow and then fake a payment, open a controversy and lead LBC customer support to release escrow. And then you're scammed.

Use your common sense. That guy created a LBC account a day ago, and looking to trade for several thousands. You also have to fund escrow before the trade starts, so have you considered that he can just lock up your BTC for days? Sure he might be banned afterwards, but it's not hard to make another account with ZERO trades.

i don't know but i used to think that lbc was a secure place to buy and sell btc but i believe that the worst thing that can happen is that lbc hold the btc for a few days i don't think that they are going to give them to the buyer ..

Not only this but you have to remember the fact that there is always the chance that something will go wrong with the LBC escrow service (either he attempts to hack your account, you accidentally release escrow, or something happens internally) that releases escrow to him. You also need to take into consideration the fact that he may deposit counterfeit bills into your bank account or do something else that would allow him to reverse the transaction

haploid and Fatty have posted reasonably plausible explanations above. If you really want to make authenticate transaction, offer the buyer to meet in a public place, accept cash payment directly over the table and transfer Bitcoins to him during the meeting.
