Just found this on /r/cryptocurrency

http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2l05yt/going_out_of_business_50_off_scrypt_miners/

Looks like G-blades as cheap as $75

Gridseed Mini's as cheap as $10.50

Zuesminer x3's for $175

Anybody know which one of these ^ is the best bang for your buck?

Be careful, sites that sell things usually throw me off when they don't even keep their "Copyrights" up to date.

"Copyright © 2013 Gridseed Wholesale All Rights Reserved."

The domain is also registered to Gridseedwholesale which is apparently located in the US, however the domain was registered through an Australian registrar, which isn't bad just a red flag.

ALSO if you do a WHOIS on the domain name, and get the phone number it's registered to; 5105952002 you get these results;

http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/5105952002

Looks like a big time scammer to me.

5 months in business with next to 0 complaints on the web, i think you are being a little over zealous.

Also, Melbourne IT is the second biggest domain registrar on the web. Anyone who buys a domain through yahoo instead of GoDaddy ends up with Melbourne IT.

Please do a little homework before you start with your Nonsense. I am by no means saying 100% that they are legit, but after 5 months and tons of sales they had with next to 0 complaints i think you are jumping the gun a bit here with your "oh no, scam scam scam B.S."

With my nonsense? It's pretty simple. Lookup the phone number on the domain registration. Many complaints. If anything I'd say your the owner of the site. But I'm not going to accuse you of that.

5 months in business with next to 0 complaints on the web, i think you are being a little over zealous.

That doesn't mean shit. Once again let me do you a favor and google the number REGISTERED to that domain;

https://www.google.ca/?gws_rd=ssl#q=5105952002

Here is the Who.is report as well to make your life easier - http://who.is/whois/http://www.gridseedwholesale.com

If they were 5 months in business, and registered in 2014 than why the hell is their Copyright 2013? Not very good business practice.

Also where are their sales? I've never heard of this site until today and I've purchased over $25k in mining equipment, I also happen to own http://asicscrypt.com and http://coinminernews.com which both report on mining equipment. SO I think I'd be well aware if mining equipment was being given away.

and to completely burst your bubble. ASIC Scrypt miners have barely been around for less than a year. Some of which aren't even 5 months old. So how they've been "doing 5 months of business" I dont' understand either, as by the looks of it.. ASIC companies are doing pretty well Smiley

OH and to top it off I just gave their registered phone number a call "Sorry the mailbox is full and there is not enough space to leave a message." Sounds like such a legit business

Also for someone who doesn't know anything about the site, you are overly defensive.

Please do a little homework

Let me do you a favor,

I am not going to argue with you, nor try and defend them. I do not work for them, and would not make a dollar for my time arguing with you, therefore your comments are merely your own skepticism and want to be an internet super sleuth.  There are skeptics everywhere and i accept that.

Myself, i just sent them an e-mail and was very satisfied with their professionalism and willingness to clarify some questions i had. With that, i'm ordering. You do or dont do whatever you want, i am not your daddy.

Wow buddy, for someone who claims to know so much about Scrypt Miners you seem to be very out of touch with reality. Took me 5 minutes to find out a ton about them, Mainly that they are legit and have been around for at least 5 months. I too do not get paid to argue with you, but i'm bored so let me take the time to show the rest what a jackass you really are.

"I also happen to own http://asicscrypt.com and http://coinminernews.com which both report on mining equipment" you say?

Not to mention they were doing a coin of the week publicly for over a dozen coins for a few months. So with that i say loud and proud "YOUR ABILITY TO REPORT ON MINING EQUIPMENT SUCKS"

Now crawl back into whatever hole you came out of and let the grown ups talk.

You literally just linked 3 articles which have no authority. I designed the logo for the guy who owns Sitesthatacceptworldcoin.com,

"Posted on July 25, 2014 by GridSeedGuys
Average rating (1 votes; 5)"

He posted the link on SitesThatAcceptWorldcoin.com himself genius.

http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/29jnva/gridseed_wholesaler_just_announced_it_will_be/- Cool I can post an article on Reddit.

http://www.scoop.it/t/cryptocurrencies-bitcoin-altcoins-in-general-promotions-giveaways-announcements/p/4023903500/2014/07/01/gridseed-wholesaler-just-announced-it-will-be-taking-all-major-cryptos-as-payment
 - that doesn't even go to anything specific.

Your right it took me less than 5 minutes to find out a ton about them. At least 5 months...

WHERE IS YOUR PROOF. Show me a shipping label with their business name on it. Show me a receipt with their business name on it. Give me the name of their sales manager. All reasonable questions. You are both avoiding the fact there is absolutely NO REAL contact information for them and any information that is available is linked to prior scam articles.

But go ahead "grown up".. talk

bitcoin86403, No need to turn this into a pissing contest, the guy clearly has issues and egging him on will only turn this into a 50 page my dick is bigger than yours thread. He has an opinion, he has shared it, he wants to feel like he is smart, so let him.

Ignoring him will damage his ego more than your replying to his idiocy.

Never once did I claim to be smart or try and insult anyone. I simply stated BE careful, not my fault you had the wrong perspective.

Be careful, sites that sell things usually throw me off when they don't even keep their "Copyrights" up to date.

I apologize for caring.

Once again I said be careful, and based on your reputation I don't take your word for it. Sounds even better their funds got stolen..

I actually did take a look at your reputation. So you thought wrong. Regardless of what the negative reputation is for as I really do not care, It still doesn't defeat the point that you do have a negative rep, even if it is from some "forum nazi".

Not one person in this thread has been able to explain why their whois information is registered as known scammer information, their phone number is dead. All signs of a non legitimate business. Everyone seems to be avoiding that issue and trying to tackle me instead. Thats nice n all that you can show a potentially random blockchain transaction for a couple grand, but once again that does not prove anything.

A little proof is all I'm asking, you guys are the ones that blew this all out of proportion and once again providing me with a random blockchain address doesn't suffice.

They don't even have the slightest bit of contact information on their page lol. Maybe it's not an issue to most, but those thinking with common sense would figure a site that is apparently giving such amazing discounts, that has no contact information, their whois information is bullshit and they can't even keep their Copyrights up to date. Sounds too good to be true. But by all means please do use them and receive amazing discounts.

Not to mention this entire thread is also in the wrong section as this is not a service announcement by any means. A "service" that already "exists for 5 months" and is now providing a discount, isn't a service announcement. It's a Service Advertisement. Based on SodaWarz posting history, he's only here a couple times a month and it seems to be when he needs something. If he saw the link in reddit, could have easily commented on there, or on the IRC, but instead posts a service announcement for something he apparently doesn't own.
