Hello everybody,

I have had to reinstall linux in my laptop and I have not been able to configure my wallet.

I try to restore the wallet from seed, so I choose that option and click next, and I get the same window again, so I click the same option and next. After this two times I get an error message: "sin semilla" (in spanish, should be "without seed") and the program closes...

I'm using Ubuntu and Xubuntu 14.10 Everything worked fine in 14.04

Any idea?

Thanks!

Same problem here, Ubuntu 14.10, 64 bit

Three times the 'create new wallet' screen, then 'no seed'. The 'create new wallet' screen also 'jumps' around the screen a bit (you can't click 'next' in the same position)

I have no problem on my laptop, 14.04, which will stick to the LTS version.

I tried deleting the .electrum directory, but doesn't help. I had never been installed before (wanted to get rid of the enormous blockchain on my harddrive...)

Same here. I've been using Armory for like a year now and it's database gets corrupted all the time. My laptop has 1.5gb/s SATA so it really sucks to rebuild/rescan. I wanted to move to Electrum but it doesn't work with the 14.10. I'm grateful to you guys for making one of the the best wallets for Bitcoin but the fact is that there is still no proper wallet software.  Sad
