I guess they get money of other companies to place their advertisements on their faucet site.

Traffic comes because coins are given away and that makes the money for the next giveaway. Circular business. Smiley

i you open a faucet's page you can notice 2 things there are a lot of advertisements and if you move your mouse to the advertisements on their sites you'll notice they are from a couple of ad providers like anoymos ads, adbit, googleads, ..... the more traffic they get the better ads and more money they earn

visit this for getting the general idea:
https://adbit.co/?a=Advertise
1st place is freebitco.in with 0.4 BTC/day

That's true I see how they can make small amounts of money now but most choose just to reload into site again.

The advertisements doesn't really gain you much I hosted a semi successful faucet and was making no more than $2 a week it's not worth it in a business sense but more as a hobby & project.

I thought the most traffic to your site came from asia, you will gain more when your traffic from usa or europe.

It's a good experience, because people learn how to manage a site on a server and manage small transactions. Better preparation for the larger transactions! And you might be able to make some profit, at it

Simply, benefits of owning a faucet is to earn a big quantity of money through advertising, much advertising. But you have to get much people in your faucet to earn seriously.

I once viewed a faucet from an opera mini browser with ads block activated and it didnt allowed me to collect a sat. Faucet owners get their income from their advertisement. The more traffic they get, the better their profit would be.

Right now, freebitco.in is able to get 0.71500004 BTC a day from adbit.co for having two adspaces.
Also, the site is having several other google ads.
