Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I don't have anything to contribute but may I suggest summarizing what information you already have in hopes of helping someone new that comes to this thread?

First thing I thought when I came to this thread was how much I can't be bothered filtering through 10 pages to gather information.... some of which hasn't even been posted in public.

My 2 cents Smiley good luck all.

Yes, the day the site went down, it was confirmed to be a scam. Unfortunately, not much has been confirmed who the real owner is.

Good idea BAC (<- Always makes me think of Blood Alcohol Content  Smiley)

I agree with trying to round up all of the research posts and info. from the other thread and posting it here.
However- I will say one thing with that. I know many of you are in support of AK throughout this situation, but I don't think anybody can deny that something weird was going on involving him throughout that whole situation. Could he have been framed? Yes.  Would that also be the most perfect method of defense (if not only) after the JoeMattie/AKCoinMiner/dmf connection was established? Absolutely. I am thinking of DotCommie's posts here also, the information he found.

If you are serious about finding the truth, then I believe none of that info. should be left out and/or censored.
And I am 100% Definitely not trolling here or trying to accuse an innocent person. We must all stay open-minded about all theories, and none of those currently are stronger than dmf being AK, in my opinion.
Also- please don't delete this post. I think that would give me such an uneasy feeling in my stomach about this.

Well, this clearly isn't a scam accusation thread, is it; unfortunately there's no "witch hunt" or "goose chase" category so it's not clear where this belongs, or where we go from here.

If we're going to summarise all the non-troll information from the old thread into the OP of this one then it would make sense to include the stuff about AK. While it doesn't prove anything, it's certainly relevant.

I'l get those in the OP as soon as I wake up a little more.  I got that far and then at that point in the thread Owsley starts trolling hard (it is so painful to read... I just couldn't do it to myself last night!0

No worries man.  The reason of this thread is not to delete posts, but Owsley starts trolling I will. Last resort though, so you guys talk freely and find these fucking Goons.

Seems he won't be able to spam with as much freedom as before. He is probably limited to 1 post for every 10 minutes or so.
