About:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654039.0

It all runs great on Win7 (with CGminer with zeus support) but who knows about working software drivers for:

1) Network Attached Storage (NAS)

2) Android (samsung galaxy)

Just want to know if it's possible to connect the Blizzard to a tablet or smartphone or NAS

Second question:
What does the configuration options: --nocheck-golden --ltc-debug --nocheck-scrypt do exactly? Do you need to put it in your startbat.bat?

Thanks :-)

--nocheck-golden

Finally, there are a few ZeusMiners with buggy firmware that don't properly respond to detection. For those you may need to use:

No Check Scrypt (--nocheck-scrypt) > removed as deprecated

My Blizzards are running like this:

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o SERVER:PORT -u USER.WORKER -p PASSWORD -S opencl:noauto -S zus:all --set zus:chips=6 --set zus:clock=328 --set zus:ignore_golden_nonce=1 --no-submit-stale

Okay thanks, that's very useful...  Smiley

Will it be the same for CGminer or other miners?

Something like:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o SERVER:PORT -u USER.WORKER -p PASSWORD -S opencl:noauto -S zus:all --set zus:chips=6 --set zus:clock=328 --set zus:ignore_golden_nonce=1 --no-submit-stale

at the moment i use:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o SERVER:PORT -u ADDRESS -p PASSWORD --zeus-chips 6 --zeus-clock 328

Yeah, opencl:noauto means, don't scan for GPU. If your device gets detected without a problem, you don't need nocheck golden. If your hashrate is ok, stick with your current .bat file (probably add "no submit stale").

Thanks Jawitech, did add --no-submit-stale (whatever that means)

Was thinking on how to calculate an average profit calc...but all i get is a big loss as soon as power costs are deducted

Hope i'm doing this all wrong...  Shocked

Zeus Blizzard miner 1,4 MH/s gives 0,00041736 bitcoin in pool per 24 hours X 85 Watt miner+computer = 2 KWH power per 24 hours average

2kwh = 0,45 Euro
0,00041736 bitcoin = 0,11 Euro

seems like a big loss...

no submit stale means, that stale shares will not be submitted to the pool. It reduces the server load and makes your stats look cleaner (valid vs. invalid shares).

I didn't do the math, but the current low BTC price and high energy costs mining is far away from being profitable. Good times are over, at least for the moment. You either mine as you want to protect and support a coin, hope to get some profit of a combination of mining and trading or give it up. Sorry to say...
