After five months of development and less then a month of being in public beta. I am sad to announce VaultEX has come to some disagreements about development and production. We have a great team, but we seem to not be able to agree on a lot of things regarding the future of the exchange. We have decided it might be best to sell the exchange as a whole and move on. This would be a great opportunity for a person or team that is in the market for something like this. The exchange is fully operational with 25+ currencies, support panel from Arctic Desk, MCP Admin panel almost complete for support staff. This sale comes with two domains, vaultex.io & vaultex.net. All media accounts including @vaultex_io Twitter account with over 700 followers, Freenode IRC channel #vaultex, Reddit - http://www.reddit.com/r/vaultex/, Facebook.com/vaultex.io page and anything else pertaining to VaultEX that i am forgetting. Our PRE-ANN thread with more information on the exchange can be viewed here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=827094.msg9241119#msg9241119You can make an account and test drive the entire exchange - https://vaultex.ioskype & freenode IRC nickname - degenorate

I would say if you're interested make an offer you feel is fair and we will either counter or accept. We are looking to liquidate quickly to allow an easy transfer with little to no downtime, So we are trying to stay away from an auction style sale. First legit offer we feel is fair will get themselves a pretty good deal.

First legit offer we feel is fair will get themselves a pretty good deal. To be honest with you, I have no idea how much it's actually worth, so I'll just put my starting offer of 0.25 BTC here. I haven't bought software before, so I have little to no clue how much effort has been put into this exchange. Questions: 1. Is it ready to leave the Beta Stage? 2. I can't code, will this be a probelm? 3. I don't have a physical server, however I'm not entirely sure how good of a VPS I need to run this exchange. 4. What are the estimated profits of this exchange?

Depending on the answers I get, I might match this offer.

Will you allow someone trusted to go through the code and verify it that its not backdoored and is safe?

Hmmm, this could be interesting....
I would like to make a better estimation of the scope of this software and the work that has been put into it. Is there a place where i can get some more in-depth details?

I am sorry but this is no where close to the evaluation we have been given from others and what we feel is a fair offer. But Thank you. If i need it, i will find you *still reading this thread I may be scared, but okay lol Will you allow someone trusted to go through the code and verify it that its not backdoored and is safe?
It would not be in our best interest to allow just anyone to review the code, but with some sort of proof of funds and a way to make sure they aren't going to run off with the code. I don't see this being a problem. Hmmm, this could be interesting....

That is why there hasn't been any downtown. We have paid next months server bills to hopefully find a suitable buyer within that timeframe, without any downtime. It also gives any potential buyer a chance to actual test drive the exchange to know exactly what they are buying, unlike most people on here just selling unknown source code that may or may not work.

If hosting is a problem for whoever buys the exchange, please get in touch with me.
We can probably sort this out, as I do hosting for a living.

Bump, it is now possible to make a deal on the site engine and script only for slightly less if you do not want the domain and media accounts. But everything can be negotiated.
