DeathAndTaxes vanished from here almost exactly a month ago (Oct 7).  Anyone know what is up?

Bitsimple is still around.  Just curious if he is okay.

Maybe DeathAndTaxes and DannyHanilton are the same? They both have almost exactly the same posting activity if you check their user stats.

They both came back on the exact same day, so this would be very well possible.

Yeah, noticed that as well, very possible (though obviously there's nothing wrong with that). The user stats, especially the posting activity, are very helpful for discovering alts, and usually when both users go absent at the same time or for the same time periods and come back at the same time it's a very good indication of your suspicions.

IMO both users are very reputable (for different reasons) and the person behind both accounts probably has each of the accounts for different reasons.

Yeah, I don't really see much of DeathAndTaxes personally as he probably is more active in subs I don't frequent, but Danny is an asset to the community and is ridiculously helpful and always willing to answer newbs even with the most basic of questions he's answerd countless times before. I've learned a lot from just reading his replies to other users. He alone kinda makes me wish there was a +1/thanks button.

People are leaving because the price is dropping and they are getting discouraged.

I doubt they would go out of their way to delete their posts though.

They're not dropping because of price, they're just no longer able to squelch the noise anymore. New devs are skipping this forum altogether.

DM has come back and been active for days, while D&T is still nowhere to be found.
Either they are two different persons, or he read ruthless09's post so that they don't come back at the same day.
