I don't think this account has been bought or sold, this person told me that he's just rarely online and active on bitcointalk. He didn't even know that people can't get avatars anymore.

In a couple of months there will be the new forum and everybody can get an avatar. Well, not everyone knows that, plus the account can still be used in the meantime for whatever reasons. Accounts with an avatar have always gone for a little bit extra as well but their value is decreasing for several reasons. |
