I am using version 0.93 (latest version).

The first time I send coins, it will ask me for my passphrase.

If I send coins again, do I need to re-enter the passphrase?  I haven't shut down the application.

Your wallet remains unlocked for a while. IIRC it's 5 or 10 minutes.
