A lot of people here seem to wonder how people (besides the pumpers) can profit from all of the altcoin pump and dumps. We all know this is inevitable and goes on each day, but I wanted to show how people can do this in a way that minimizes risk.

The Method: http://mtgbitcoin.com/bitcoin-bot/profit-altcoin-pump

Its basically impossible to do this by hand, so obvious you need a type of tools to do this. There may be other tools that can do this besides Haasbot, but this is just what I use.

well the way this set up works, is that the second the price of the altcoin that is getting pumped drops below the dynamic drop loss price (which is set to 98% of the current price, which adjusts every 60 minutes) the software will sell into the buys. So it doesn't really matter what the pumpers know and they can't really circumvent this, unless they try to shake out the bot by triggering a greater than 2% drop. But by doing that, that would cause me and other people to sell, which may actually start the dump prematurely. But either way, I limit my risk and if they try to shake me out, I will profit by selling above where I bought.

and for this particular case, the software got me out at 0.00718 for darkcoin. Will this be the top? I have no idea, but I managed to make a few % profit. Time to wait for the next coin to be pumped Smiley

well the thing about doing it manually is you don't necessarily know where the top is. I prefer to utilize a strategy for catching tops for altcoin dumps, because the % changes are massive. I don't pay for a button, i pay for a system that I can utilize to make my trades more profitable.

These software mostly cost you more the the profit is. Only two peoples makes profit in these case. These are the programmer that sold his programm and the exchanges with his fee.

Don't waste your coins for that. Its better to read about new coins and invest in one that you understand and trust.

why are you skeptical? I literally just showed, in real time, what I was able to make a few % of profit by using my method for selling at the top of a pump and dump.

Because believing a "Newbie" with a activity of "7" is like suicide. You could lose your money more quickly then you think.

Rights that's the point with the programmer I meant.

I've done alright with my strategies. I understand the fear of the unknown, with respect to software related to bitcoin. I just want to share that you can trade without having to sit there with your finger on the sell button.

If you believe that your bot is perfect, why don't you run it against btc/usd pair?

its not my bot, but I do use this software for all of my trades. I do trade against USD/BTC and I even illustrated one of the trading strategies that I use for USD/BTC in a sideways market on my blog: http://mtgbitcoin.com/bitcoin-bot/trade-channel-trading

We all know that nothing is for free.
So, your aim is only a little bit more traffic to your blog or, more likely, you try to sell those tools?

This.

Any use of the said bot with the OP's suggested parameters would cut the OP's gain on the same coins if the OP is using the same settings. Isn't this suspicious?
