I mentioned this in another thread but I'm throwing this out for feedback. I've been working nearly full time developing a gambling game platform that supports both NXT and Bitcoin. It's written in JS and has a Django/Python backend. It's finally fully functional and easy to modify. I have lots of fun ideas to add to the game but I have about a month before I start a masters program at GT so I'll have little time to promote it and even less time to add additional new features.

There's a bonus game built in and progressive jackpot. My ultimate vision for the game was creating something that could actually be beat (completely) if the person figured out what they should do. The game is technically beatable now but that can be changed by tweaking a few parameters. This came about from a conversation with my wife where we were discussing our 'beef' with traditional slot like games.

I can already envision the awesome 'banner ad' for this game (on coinmarketcap.com) but I'm going to put it up for sale in the short term to see if I can get a decent offer and if so transfer the domain (the house funds) and the game over to someone with the time to really make it successful.

Please contact me with any reasonable offer. playsatoshipop@gmail.com    Game at -> www.SatoshiPop.com

This would be a great project/business for someone that has the time.

Is there a log in feature, or does it work purely out of the cookies saved/history? I don't see a secret login link either.

Sorry Missed these, It's a javascript/html5 that floats balloons with different 'amounts of crypto' in them. The site uses all server side information and a cookie session ID to keep track of the user. There's also a 'bonus game' where the screen starts to fill with Black Balloons and progressive jackpot.

My estimate based on the time it was up was that it would make something like 1.1 bitcoin a month (Simply through forum posts and signatures) and maybe quite a bit more if you paid for a banner add.

It works completely through a session ID saved in your cookies, (and the server keeps track of the sensitive data based on this). There's no reason for your cookies to change unless you manually dump them. (or the really long expiration period of several weeks is met)

Smiley It's funny I thought I'd created the simplest game play imaginable but several people have said that it isn't clear without a better description that you pop the balloons after depositing money into the printed addresses on screen.

How much do you think?

I posted 10 BC on my page (which I think is a ridiculous deal! but I' biased Smiley) , from an extrapolation of the amount taken in from a single post, I'm confident it would make ~1.1 BC a month (with NXT and Bitcoin). I'm currently taking offers though.

I"m confident through a little bit of posting + signatures that a person could easily make that back in 10 months. With a cheap banner add on a site like coinmarketcap, I feel like you could bring that in a month or two if not sooner.  (I honestly can't even imagine as I had 200 people in 2 days from a single forum post)

The game needs a better explanation of the game play in the blurb on the about page and a little subtle advertising. One might wonder why don't I just do it? As much as I love the idea of taking in ~400$ worth of Bitcoin a month, I"m really not the person to maintain it for several reasons, I"m not sure if it's even legal to run in my state, I felt bad when someone actually lost money and I'm starting a graduate program in a month and don't have the time to post about it and make minor changes suggested by the players.

As  I said in another post, I got mostly positive feedback but just the 1-2 people that lost money outright (and posted) I wanted to refund their money which made me realize I don't have the personality to host such a site, additionally I returned all bets for the first 48 hours I had it running, which my wife was pretty upset about Smiley  I'd like nothing more than for someone to give me a reasonable offer, take it over and keep it as fun as possible while not being bothered by the money it actually takes in.

The game is easily configured and I can't get my kids to stop playing it. Smiley I think it's better suited for a high risk, high return because otherwise you end up going up and down forever which is how the original game play played out. I wanted something a bit closer to a lottery than a slot machine but you can literally change that all with a couple key strokes. (which I could provide documentation for)

If someone were to purchase it, it would be as simple as taking over the domain, the house wallets and read a quick explanation of how to tweak the algorithm.
You would see people visiting and playing within the hour. It's 100% automated. Lastly, as bad as I felt about the folks that did lose money, it was really cool to watch the bitcoin tally go up and up on my wallet.  Grin Well, until I sent it all back.

This doesn't look very complex or unique. Not a coder but don't think it will be difficult to get it made by someone at a low price.

That's fair, in that case I recommend someone pays someone to create the same game and advertise it just to see what kind of business it brings in. It took me several months to develop and I make ~30$ a hour so if my company were paying me to create it, it would have cost 15,000$ or so. Then again, I'm not that fast of a developer so maybe someone else could get it done much faster. Smiley

So you want people to pay you for something that will lose them money?  Doesn't sound very wise.

Well that's clearly not what I landed on but it was what I had in mind. Clearly someone else could have a different vision for it then I did but I wanted it to go something like this, (I don't care as I'm selling it or scrapping it). The game allows you to enter bonus mode by hitting black balloons I wanted to keep track of the person forgoing the black balloon bonus for some number of rounds while playing but at some predetermined amount of time (say 6 skipped rounds, which would be really hard to pass up as all black balloons in bonus give money!) if they selected the black balloons then, that bonus would lead to a parade of green balloons. If they played and let those go as well there would be bi-colored balloons if they then selected the right color it would tip the odds in their favor allowing them to clean the game out.

By the time this happened the house pot would have been huge and that person would have been rewarded by cleaning out the designated pot. The bottom line is that I wanted the ultimate logic to allow for this possibility which likely would have taken ages.

The game isn't set up that way now but when I said it was technically beatable, every person that played it actually had a 1/50 chance of beating the house to death. The losses from the other players should have made up for it but in simulations one player of the 50 should have gotten on a run that completely drained the house. That's just how I set it up, it also required that the person kept playing even though they were up a lot. (which I imagine would have been hard for most as it required popping 1000's of balloons with a lot of faith!)

I know this because I tweaked the backend until roughly 1 out of 50 ended up positive (after potentially going up or down a lot) while the house ended up negative, that's just how I set it up to make it as fair as possible. (also, the max values for the other 49 were on average higher than their starting wager)

Changing it is as simple as changing: if num in (23,14,15,16,17): to if num in (23,14,15,16,17,18,19,20): You hit a tipping point where either the game never allows the house to be beat or it runs some risk of being beat. (the balloons have a random value) It's configurable you can't make it whatever you want, I wanted it beatable but you could just as easily make it unbeatable with a 1% house edge.

Thank you, It isn't going to be me though.  Cheesy I hope somebody else takes reigns and keeps me updated on its success.  Grin (perhaps you could serve as esgrow)

I think the investment is quite good, otherwise I wouldn't put it out there. I think that should be obvious from my history. Please contact me if interested.

Thanks,

display an interesting site, make remembering my childhood when I saw the balloon. You do not have to focus to sell it here. You can join in another forum, such as education, bussines, kids, and others. it gives more opportunities
