No sorry, it is a Spanish Cryptos Blog. At least at the moment, we only do this in Spanish language that it was our purpose from the begining to reach all the spaninsh speakers community because we thought there is already a lot of info about this subject in English. But we will see in the future.
The Raffle it is written also in English part of them, what is important it is in English too.
Easy, we r organising a Draw or Raffle of "1" bitcoin for this Christmas, and everybody can participate. U just need to write down ur bitcoin address in the comments section and thats all plus saying congrats for our 1st anniversary.

Even though it will be your raffle, and the cost is practically free, is the draw going to be provably fair?

Yes! 100% fair drawing. No doubt about it and u shouldnt have any doubt. The doubt offends us (we say in Spanish)
Yes! We organised this drawing or raffle because we wanted to celebrate our 1st anniversary as a blog dedicated to the cryptos world in such a way. And so give thanks to all our followers during this year in this way.
Yes! We will not do directly the drawing. We will introduce all the bitcoin addresses we receive in our "Raffle of 1 bitcoin" post into a website dedicated to do drawings, raffles or giving aways. So the result of this drawing will be COMPLETELY RANDOM and you will be able to see that on December 22nd as we will up load or paste in some other post screenshots from all the procedure. So it will be completely FAIR.
Yes! The prize (or cost as u call it) is ONE BITCOIN (paid fr our own pockets) and divided into 3 different prizes as u can read in our post. 1st prize 0.50 btc, 2nd prize 0.35 btc and finally 3rd prize will receive 0.15 btc MINUS a 15% deduction that we will send (the blog) as a DONATION to "The Water Project". So the 3 winners will receive the difference, which still a good prize and so we can also do a good action by helping others in need in that project.
And finally, do u really think that just because it is our own drawing and the cost as u call it is practically free as u have said, the drawing it is not going to be FAIR. It doesnt make any sense what you have said....
** The Water Project has already reached the funding they were asking for but they still having its bitcoin address in its website, so the idea is to send them the 15% of the prize as soon as posible in order to take part of it and so u will be able to see our donation in their site. If they remove that bitcoin address before we do the donation we will find some other project to help to.
And again, Good luck in our Drawing!! and spend the prizes wisely or keep them as a savings.
See u next Dec 22nd with the winners.

No offense meant, I was just asking if it was Provably Fair, ... if you use Random.org, I have no doubt it will be fair, just not provably. By this I mean, one where a hash result such as SHA256 or HMAC-SHA512 is used in such a manner to determine which 3 people will receive the prizes.
I don't think anything, I was just asking. I don't know if that makes sense to you or not. I don't speak Spanish, but my two brothers studied in Universidad de Navarra in Madrid.

How can you prove that draw is provably fair?

Just joined the raffle Waiting for the results Thank you unamis76. Just join and enjoy. You dont have anything to lose and some bitcoins to win. Easy enough As I said before some website related to drawings, promotions and give aways will do our drawing, which is as well our first Bitcoin Christmas Lotto to take place next December 22nd from noon on. We will input into the website all ur bitcoin addresses and we will show you with screenshots that all ur bitcoin addresses are into the drawing. What else can we do.... or do you prefere lotteries where you have to pay for ur tickets....., this is a promotion for our first anniversary, and we have decided to do it in this way. So we hope u all enjoy this Bitcoin Christmas Lotto and have some fun even if this concept of lottery where nobody is asking u to pay for a ticket sounds you a little bit strange, just give it a chance and belive it, thats all. Bitcoin means trust Best! App & Dutch

How can you prove that draw is provably fair? I used to run a raffle myself for 29 weeks. (see link in signature). Each and every draw was provably fair.

Thank you Dabs, really, I can see u know a lot about all this, Im not. So I would need to do it in a very simple way and I think the way I have explained is ok for this purpose. It wont be as good as some examples I have seen around but I think still fair.
Thanks! App & Dutch
