There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Tangible is a great bitcoin business that functions just as it should. Great low fees, superb customer service, and everything is always friendly and smooth. I highly recommend them.

Nobody has taken us up on the option yet. The early bird special is still available. I would imagine this option will have a niche use. It likely is best for the seller who doesn't want to use PayPal or Dwolla and doesn't want the higher fees of MoneyPak or WU.

New payout option added: Cash deposit directly to your Bank Of America or Wells Fargo bank account. In most instances funds will be available instantly (see your bank for fund availability information) IMPORTANT: You must use pgp to encrypt private information if you want to use this payout option. If you send us your account information in plain text we will reject your sale, and refund the coins. No exceptions.Denominations available: $200 to $5,000 (this is a manual process so it isn't cost/time effective for us to process smaller orders) What we need: Full Name as it appears on the account, Bank name, account type, and account number (MUST be sent via PGP protected message) Fee: None during this trial period (subject to change as we evaluate the popularity and time requirements)

I hate to be the one to start an ugly rumor, but Tangible lives in his parents' basement and lives on ramen noodles and cut-rate soda. His only entertainment is an Atari 2600. This is the only explanation for fees this frickin' low. I would gladly pay an extra 1/4% so he could chop up some ham to put in those noodles but the man lives the way he wants so fine then.
In addition to the crazy low fees, the service is top-shelf.

I can deposit funds into BofA or Wells Fargo because there are physical branches locally. I already tried this as a trial with two sellers before making it an official option. Ally bank has no physical branches and Chase has no branches in my immediate area. We do intend to offer ACH which would work with an US bank account (hopefully starting next week if the bank can graciously get around to approving the application). The advantage of a cash deposit is it posts the same day (much like a wire without the wire cost). The ACH service we are getting set up with has an accelerated option which delivers funds next day for an additional fee.

We are happy to announce that bankers occasionally work; more to the point our application for ACH has been (finally cough cough) approved. We will be rolling out ACH deposits (direct deposit) as our latest payout option in a few days. We need to finish up some automation improvements to keep up with demand and wait for some fund transfers to clear. The fee on ACH payouts will be ..... NOTHING! Our 110% same day guarantee applies to ACH also. Obviously we can't guarantee the ACH delivery (that is up to the banking network and takes 3-5 business days) but we can do our part and guarantee we will submit the ACH request the same day we buy your coins. They are your hard earned coins don't accept anything less than same day payments. Need your money a little faster? Well our name isn't SlowCash4Bitcoins. We will be offering an optional upgrade for NEXT DAY ACH payouts. You will have funds in your bank account the day after you sell us coins. Final pricing for this optional service is not decided yet but we anticipate it will be around five bucks. Remember "normal" ACH will always be a free service for our clients. Thanks for all the support ... and coins!

I just pushed 400 USD in redeemable MtGox codes to TangibleCryptography and exchanged them for paypal. This guy is fast, responsive, and nice. What more can you ask? I'm looking forward to transacting with him again in the near future.

Still by PM or PGP encrypted email ( info@tangiblecryptography.com ) . I think I sound like a broken record but he intend to have the website up soon. Real life just seems to ensure there are never enough hours.

Effective immediately we will not longer accept MtGox codes. We are strictly a BTC direct buyer. For any trades already in progress or negotiated involving MtGox codes, they will be honored.

Effective immediately we will not longer accept MtGox codes. What brought this on? Probably how difficult it is to get money out of MtGox these days...

Effective immediately we will not longer accept MtGox codes. What brought this on? Probably how difficult it is to get money out of MtGox these days... That would be it. We rode it out as long as possible but it has turned into a liquidity trap. Capital goes in and gets stuck. Even without the risk of insolvency (small IMHO but not zero) the delays are getting longer and the amount of capital idled keeps growing. We can't continue to support that. For some time now we have been accepting MtGox as a courtesy and then immediately paying MtGox to buying coins.
