I am considering liquidating BTCMC and closing down.  The diff growth rate is going to make keeping up a losing prospect, even with significant ASIC resources.  

A bummer for sure.  Losing the barriers to entry that GPU mining gave us really screwed the business model.

Some mistakes have been made (understandably), some bad luck has been encountered, and so my investments havw not paid off as I had hoped. At least I did not invest with any Pirates

Ya, leaving funds at Bitcoinica was a dumb, dumb mistake.  I still cling to a shred of hope that asshole Kerpeles will do the right thing and stop obstructing the conservators trying to wind up Bitcoinica, as we have a verified claim. 

I will present some updated numbers, with current salvage values by the end of August.....there is a lot to document.  There is a large amount of hardware to be sorted, valued, and liquidated.  I may simply make a buyout offer to all partners in order to simplify the process. 

We have a payday of July 7th with BFL.  At the rate they are going, we might have some ASIC's by November.
