On GLBSE?

It was a cunning plan to have the funny man be the money fan of the punning clan.

What's wrong with GLBSE?
In any case, there's a new one coming, called Hermes
and there's BitcoinBorse, which is German...

It certainly makes my life easier that there is only one large exchange.

However, more competition means lower commissions, which helps everyone.

Isn't that an incredibly liberating concept?  You didn't pay $8 or $32 per trade, ... you bought a single "share" with a market price of 0.2 BTC and paid about 0.2 BTC to acquire it.

Disintermediate Wall Street!

If you tell me your username on glbse, I'll send you a share of some kind.

Why? I don't know, maybe just to celebrate that I once accidentally ended up on Antigua. Nice place, but a bit too expensive for a shoestring budget.

Well, I was just following this guy's advice: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83057.msg915659#msg915659
"We need more people using CoinURL"

I'll happily stop using them for a flat once-off fee of .5 BTC Wink

You could build a browser add-on that extracts the link and bypasses the short url site couldn't you ?

Hope you get some use for the little asset I sent you.

(We was actually heading for Guatemala. The nice lady that handled our case at the airport moaned "Not again!" She didn't seem to like travel agencies ...)
