600K BTC is not enough for him, he's out for more. Remind me of a saying : The more you have, the more you want.

Don't think his plan will get much succes, people aren't that stupid to lose a lot BTC for a second time. Or are they?

All while he's sitting on the "stolen" bitcoins that went up in smoke after the MtGox fiasco.

Guy couldn't be more delusional.

I don't know why people call the MTGOX crash a 'fiasco' clusterfuck seems much more appropriate.

"fiasco" is Italian for "clusterfuck".

[citation needed]

I found it pretty funny that over at reddit someone tipped him some small amount of btc, then people told the tipper that he might want to check out who whe is giving btc to.  Karpeles replied by going "I can send you the tip back if you want". It was sad and funny.

This is where the "I am Satoshi" campaign really should apply, so we all can line up and kick him in the sack.

Stupidest thing I've heard all week, and I looked in the n00b section earlier, even some of them know you don't have to load your wallet software to see how much is at particular addresses.

Ha, you can make a cold wallet "less cold"? Since when did checking the balance of an address involve a private key? What does "less cold" even mean...

What a bunch of nonsense.

....
Comments he stated all while wearing a shirt that said :
“I don’t always test my code,” it reads, “but when I do, I do it in production.”

The fucking nerve! I don't know whether he is just a complete idiot or one of the biggest douches in recent memory.

Wow.

IMO he was trying to defend his previous practices.

In theory though it could be true if the cold storage addresses are created offline and the only way to access the cold storage addresses would be by accessing the cold storage machines, however I am not really sure why anyone would want to have their coin management set up this way

Isn't that the whole reason the blockchain was invented in the first place? We see threads on here all the time of obsessive people looking at particularly large transactions going from place to place.
