Debunked Boston University Professor Attacks Bitcoin Again

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/debunked-professor-attacks-bitcoin/

Williams has an interesting history with the Bitcoin concept, as most assuredly he is not one for the first-hand experience of ownership. He infamously stated last year that Bitcoin has the power to “harm nations, economies, and global commerce”, and that Bitcoin value would drop to around $10 by mid-2014. He also added his fear-mongering to Bloomberg TV earlier this year as well, in the presence of established Bitcoin icon Andreas Antonopoulos. If anything, Williams has proven to be a fountain of misinformation. Antonopoulos was just asked by the Canadian Parliament to educate government members about how Bitcoin works in October. In turn, the World Bank saw fit to bring in Williams to educate all on Bitcoin, without first-hand experience with the digital currency, given his impressive track record speaking on the topic.

LOL.  He is exactly the person I want educating the World Bank.  By the time he's done with them, they'll believe Bitcoin is already dead and not worthy of any regulatory or political attention.

World Bank, IMF all those guys deserve people like Williams and Krugman misinforming each other in a Keynesian, Luddite back-clapping circle (that was the gentle version).

The longer they chose to be isolated and ignorant of the future of monetary technologies the better chance they will be totally left behind and ultimately ostracized from any meaningful power or malignant influence their corrupt enterprises currently wield in the world.

At least he didn't make the mistake of calling it bitCORN. Here is the original Professor Bitcorn video for those of you who never hang out in the trollbox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poMdKtU9aRk&t=17m16s

Tigers don't get eaten. Their bones are slowly picked dry by lesser, scavenging mammals.

Yes, we just hope that his comments have the same effect that they did last time around.  Grin

Looks like the World Bank can't afford competent experts.
