Hello,

I am having a problem with an old version of the Bitcoin client I installed when I first got involved with the project  (0.2 for OSX - came out in early 2010)?    I have opened the container of the app to see if it was in there but no luck.   Where would it be?   I have some bitcoin that were sent to it but it now will not update the block-chain (I am at block 168K, and its hung-up there) far enough to get the coins so I can send them to another wallet.

FYI:  I have tried wireless and wired network connections, along with port forward to see if it was that but it will get connections to the network, just will not grab anymore blocks.

Thank you in advance,
Dalkore

I don't know OS X but since the bitcoin directory for linux starts with a period (.bitcoin) perhaps that Mac release used the same directory name and thus is not showing in the gui?  Can you use a shell?

 e.g.
   $  ls -la ~/Library/Application Support

or try this perhaps?
    $ find ~ -type f -name "wallet.dat"

Found it, thank you so much.  I love the command line, I forgot about that find command.  Worked like a charm.

In case anyone else has this issue, ... do you remember which directory it was in?

Make sure your in your user's folder as well.  That is what threw me off, I forgot how much I love BSD.
