IP detection is broken for some reason. It's seeing everyone as being from the same IP. I removed the restriction for now.

Which IP? Could it be an inverse proxy or MITM attack? Edit: we should really switch to https-only, with a real certificate. The financial incentive to mount these kind of attacks is increasing every day.

Theymos, how did you fix the problem last time? Maybe it reappeared with the server relocation. IP detection is broken for some reason. It's seeing everyone as being from the same IP. I removed the restriction for now.

My change is still in effect. It's in "Post and topics" -> "Time required between posts from the same IP". It's set to 0, so I don't know why it's being triggered.

It seemed to me the problem was that if the time between starting or previewing your post and finishing it was less than five seconds, you would get the error. If you waited five seconds after hitting "reply" or "preview", then there was no problem.

This was not so for me.

Do not waste your time debating whether Bitcoin can work. It does work.
"Early adopters will profit" is not a sufficient condition to classify something as a pyramid or Ponzi scheme. If it was, Apple and Microsoft stock are Ponzi schemes.
There is no such thing as "market manipulation." There is only buying and selling.

I think it is if you are trying to post too fast after your last post. It's good if that is the case, as it keeps spam-bots from attacking. Although it can suck, if it halts legit posts, but then you just take a sip of your coke and try again
