IIRC, Alex Jones and the folks at infowars.com were initially claiming that Bitcoin was a secret CIA/NSA conspiracy.

I remember reading about this several months ago.

I agree that it is more likely then not going to be some kind of hoax/attention grab.

I don't see any real reason to want to say anon while "blowing the whistle" on this.
