No big news has affected price for a long time.

Most of the time when price was pumped people linked it to some sort of news so that they could try to find rational reasons for the outcome (just how our brains are programmed, we often seek patterns and find patterns that aren't really there)

Yah BTC never reacts to news, apart from when it reacts to news.

This broke late in the rally, but IMO could be nodal in driving confidence that BTC is "the one" over the next few weeks.

I doubt that's anything to do with the price rise.

Yes, came too late, but it definitely could be a second stage kicking in.

I'm holding. Glad I replenished some BTC I spent at Purse last week, last night at $369. :-)

I hope folks pull their sell orders unless they really need the fiat; reducing any sell walls out there will help BTC skyrocket and they can sell at their leisure at a much higher future price. BTC should get some good coverage in the media out of this going into the holidays, good timing.

Well it is difficult to get money into exchanges quickly if you wish to buy large amounts of bitcoin at once, however it is easy to sell your bitcoin on an exchange once you already own it.

As a result any good news will generally have a delayed reaction while bad news will likely see a quick reaction.

I would say that the recent run up is in reaction to SR2 closing down as it gives bitcoin some level of additional credibility

Where did this "This is gentlemen" thing come from?  It has to be some kind of meme seeing as how it's broken English and makes no sense without the word "it" in there.

I was curious about it too... I'm not a fan of bad grammar though... I stand the cute Doge memes, because he's adorable, but this gentleman saying is a bid odd.  Undecided
