where did they find the liquidity?

Couldn't agree more I'm afraid to say.
The liquidity wasn't there for them to achieve that.

i have 9.5 btc in play now (3 different bets)
there is enough liquidity, you just need to wait and check regularly.
then you sometimes see large liquidity and even nice odds, they mostly disappear within a few minutes
or open bets yourself

I was top for a few days, then got relegated to second, then third, now 6th!
And I have been sitting watching the bets appearing constantly as I'm not working and can't get out at the moment because of a medical problem. It's how I got to be top in the first place.
Can't say I've seen enough action available for the two new users to win so much so quickly.

Maybe it's done with fake accounts. I dont know did staff implemented system to prevent users to make more than 1 account.

In my opinion it can be done just because there are  quite a lot of matches and if you win big two or three times you can reach higher spot.
I don't know what bets exactly were made to tell if that's the case however.

it's always good to have some really favourable live bets
noobs can register who just take the first bet to go all in to try it out...
