I'm finally ready to launch the the t-shirt store that was alluded to in this thread: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=7971.0.

Square²Wear is a bitcoin-only apparel store.  You can find us at www.SquareWear.biz.  Currently we only sell t-shirts. Here are a few examples:

We're displaying prices in dollars for now, but when you check out, you can only use bitcoins to pay.  So if you get one of these shirts and someone wants one, tell them they'll have to obtain some bitcoins.  The 4th shirt pictured above was designed in part by a contest in the above forum thread.  Bitcoin forum user unfinishe came up with the winning slogan.  We'll be releasing new shirts, including some more bitcoin-related tees in the coming weeks.

Future additions to the store include:
Weekly(ish) new t-shirts
Hoodies
Women's Shirts
More design contests for bitcoin prizes

Please check out the site and the shirts.  Feedback on the site, shirt designs, and anything else are appreciated.  Comment here or shoot us an email at support@squarewear.biz

You dont have 3X, 4X, or 5X.
what do you think we are? were geeks! most of us are fat slobs with no hygiene! have you ever been to a convention?
Also, two things:
You should probably put the current BTC cost next to the $ cost... wouldnt be that hard to script.
And your site is laboriously slow.

Thanks Ataranlen for the order, we'll get started on that today.  Send us some pics when you get the shirt.

Nesetalis, we definitely thought about the bigger sizes.  We do go to cons, so we know.  Wink There are several t-shirt makers in Athens, GA (where we're located) that offer the larger size shirts.  We're working on them to accept bitcoins as payment.

About the site being slow, is that everyone's experience?  Is it the site initially loading that is slow or clicking around between things or both?  Thanks guys.

and showing the current btc value next to the dollar price would indeed be a nifty little feature, easier to keep track on how much you have/can spend Smiley.

Just ordered the Bitcoin shirt. Nice site, if a little slow for me. Any plans for new shirt designs? Maybe you could work with Shazow to print some of his designs?

Yeah, that's a needed feature and something I'll definitely add soon.  I was going to list prices exclusively in bitcoins, but there was a technical problem with the opencart bitcoin module I'm using.

Thanks for the order, we'll start working on that now.  We have several shirts, including some awesome new bitcoin-related shirts, about to finish up design & art.  They should probably be live in the store next week.

I just looked up Shazow; maybe we could work with him.  I've already been contacted by some other people on this forum.  We'll likely work with several people willing to take bitcoins as payment.

Sorry about the slowness.  I'm trying to track down the cause of it.  I suspect maybe it is a database problem.  I'm just not sure if it's Opencart's fault or GoDaddy's fault.  We're switching to a bitcoin-accepting hosting service soon.  Possibly that will help.

I like this, though it would be nice to do what I see many websites do- use a drop-down box to select your currency displayed.

Personally I won't shop at any site that doesn't have auto-adjusting prices of some kind (a fixed fiat price with BTC shown later is fine)- at least until the BTC price stables out.

Yes, the first shipment will be heading out tomorrow to everyone who ordered shirts.  You'll get an email when it ships with the tracking number.

The site is back up.  I made some modifications on the back end.  The site should be super speedy now.  Also, thanks to tabsa's update of his opencart bitcoin plugin, I can now display prices in bitcoins.  You can change between currencies by clicking the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

Please let me know if anyone experiences any significant slowness on the site now.

What do you think?

I think you should stop spamming this on unrelated threads.

In other news, I received my "Money doesn't grow on trees..." Bitcoin shirt in the mail and it is very nice! I'll be wearing it this weekend, while engaging in other Bitcoin related activities.  Cheesy
