I have just had a quick review of the code.

It was forked from Nopecoin - not the worst Source as POS was working fine on that one

No malicious/hidden stuff was found, just the Makefile was broken.

The Source contains a valid testnet genesis block which is quite rare in these days - good.

The premine is not (yet) checkpointed i think they'll be adding that later.

After all quite a decent launch and the source looks okay to me - I'd like to read earlz review though too.

I agree. Spread out the hash. Makes the coin more stable and optimal.

Yep, only if ocminer close registrations its possible, miners are lazy:P
But with SSO its possible?

maybe pool operators could write a launch code that will cap their pools at a desired (by coin devs) top speed.  That way all the pools would get hashes at launch and would make for optimal mining for everyone!

Yeah but nowadays it's different, I launched late because of the issues with the source, and you know, hashes are hardly spread even anymore.

EDIT: Miners are joining! Yayyyy (still, beers are on ocminer)

I can close regs, but with SSO it makes not so much sense, most people just point their rigs over as they have their account already

That's true, with SSO it really doesn't help, but hash is already being spread Wink

Thanks to the people who joined
