Hi all,
I'm new to the forums, but I'm a seasoned bitcoin user - started mining over a year ago and kind of forgot about bitcoins until now.
One thing I've gotten into recently has been selling Magic: The Gathering cards, primarily on Amazon and eBay.  It seems that bitcoin is far more mature than it was a year ago, and I'd like to start accepting bitcoin orders on a trial basis - provided there's interest from the community (I know there are other MtG nerds out there!).  I currently have a ton of unopened booster boxes and loose packs spanning Revised - Scars of Mirrodin.  I also have thousands of rare and uncommon singles, as well as bulk lots.  Post here to let me know what kinds of things you're interested in, and perhaps I'll put up some ordering logistics and prices.  Grin

I'm interested in packs, what kind of prices would I be looking at?

Prices depend on the set - something like Scars of Mirrodin might be 0.5 BTC while Revised would be closer to 3.0 BTC.
Shipping is based on weight, but most likely 0.25 BTC for few packs or 0.75 BTC for a Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box.
These very rough estimates are based on the 7-day moving average from Mt. Gox.

I don't have any MBS or NPH right now - could obtain some through a distributor if there's demand.
As for the SoM singles:
Skithiryx - 1.50 BTC
Putrefax - 0.10 BTC
+ shipping of course.

Ooooookay, One skithiryx and four Putrefex How much total? i live in B.C Canada, i cant see any packaging required for the cards, so i dont really see a shipping cost aside from the price of a stamp...., you could just put the cards ina envelope and send 'em off.

I usually ship in a bubble mailer with delivery confirmation.  This is billed at a parcel rate (1 oz) instead of the letter rate.  Looks like the rate to Canada is similar to that for domestic mail - 0.25 BTC.

Total cost will be 2.15 BTC incl postage. PM me with your address to confirm.

What would be awesome is if you could play MTG online for bitcoin wagers.  Of course that would require a really good online rules-enforcing client.  Wizards of the Coast hasn't been able to do it.  Someone else maybe?

I have a load I might be able to shift. No packs, but maybe the cards you want! If anyone's looking for a specific card(s), post it up, looks like there's plenty of potential sellers.

I detect a need for a Bitcoin/MTG trading site...
