The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

ugggh more crying FUD ? really ?

also i just looked at some trust ratings and i see most of them are bad feedback left for guys accusing each other of being a socket puppet account.
guess what kids ?

Staff here have advised you create a new account if "you have something controversial to say"
So they are doing what mods advised.. so why leave them BAD feedback for following the rules ?

I think most of you around here are clueless..

Re: I've seen a few threads lately blatantly fudding Nxt......

There is a new release in the next few weeks, the last two releases saw pretty concerted efforts to smear in the week running up to it from the usual suspects. It comes with the territory, you don't see anyone Fudding Wankcoin  Cheesy Cheesy and there is a reason for that

They can only delay people looking at Nxt, I am getting the sense of the early stage of the tide turning. More and more people come out to support Nxt now in these threads. Look at the "WTF Nxt..." thread if you're in any doubt.

One look at Nxt made me realize it's easily 5 years ahead of bitcoin.

I never really been interested in nxt because of the java wallet, that's it
(same goes for the other nxt clone). I think it would have been different if it was using the standard Qt wallet...
what more can I say...

....most of which were started by the same 2 or 3 guys.

Nxt definitely gets all the FUD, but in the long term it doesn't matter.
The eco-system around Nxt is now probably the second biggest in all of crypto, Nxt dominates the crypto-assets market, Nxt Monetary System is coming on the next major update, offering a full colored coins solution in the Nxt core.
I won't even mention the 3 Smart Contracts projects within Nxt..... Grin

My point is: Nxt has been developing a lot of good stuff over the last year, and sooner or later, all of that hard work is going to pay off big time.
All of crypto is in a bear market right now, the weak players with nothng to offer are going to fall over.

So, heres a link to the latest Nxt software:
https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-3-3/
Try it out.....
Make sure you check the SHA256 checksum before you install, and you'll need Java installed.
Same install runs on Win, Lin, whatever...its a Java app. Platform independent.
Use a very good password on account creation, or better yet, use the default password generator.

Have fun, any questions, check the main Nxt forum:

I heavily invested into Nxt some days ago. The price is low and if you think about all the features which are coming around the next months (moneytary system, supernet, teleport etc), I am very convinced that I made a good deal. Of course, the Java client is an annoyance.
Just inform and decide yourself if it worth to invest in. That's your job not the job of someone else.

Yes, I recently invested more in Nxt and BitcoinDark, since they are both SuperNET core coins and BitcoinDark has the Teleport functions.

That NXT is secure enough to cautiously invest in (not that caution is not advised to invest in other cryptos for that matter), especially now that it seemingly has bottomed out. Yes, NXT doesn't have the track record of Bitcoin yet (5+ years), but Bitcoin's flaws mean all PoW run on borrowed time, and one of PoS implementations will be a successor to Bitcoin or at least gain a significant market share from Bitcoin. Will it be NXT? Don't bet a farm on it, but it sure is a likely candidate.
