Was just looking at this coin picking up volume on CCex : https://c-cex.com/?p=hlc-btc

At first glance, seems like a promising altcoin to mine at the moment - yet there's nothing on the forum I could find, at least not in one of the languages I can understand Smiley

So I'm fishing for the opinions of more experienced members. The website is here: http://www.grcoin.gr/en/  (lose the /en for greek version)
BlockChain explorer: http://chain.vtcpool.eu/chain/Hellascoin

HEADS UP - I just downloaded the official windows wallet, and it seems to have a trojan in it according to virustotal:
https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/4c388b0882af7e7459881f60feb3f75147aa0f90929a9ae75816f1723792423a/analysis/1416146942/

Now I don't dare to start the linux binary... anyone knows about source location for it so I could take a look?

Even if the windows binary would contain a trojan if you pull it down from github and compile it for yourself that Linux binary should be reasonably safe.

The best way to follow someone who don't "trust" any windows binary

We just fixed the code which lead to false positive . Not the virus analysis shows a variant of BitCoinMiner as Litecoin does too .
Setup file analysis : https[Suspicious link removed]cutable file analysis ( wallet ) : https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/76e005fa7e7eb76b1d192beb5a6002cd90cf7003c3f6afe26d40b16435032ae3/analysis/1416362096/

Feel free to report us anything! Thanks again for the report of this issue !

Thanks for this! Great work!
Yes the hits I was worried about were the trojan ones - of course it's OK if it's a miner Smiley

Yep, and mainly that I can read the source.

Not that I necessarily have the patience to go through it line by line all the time Smiley
