Will you accept CryptoNote coins like Monero and Boolberry?

I think it is important for a decentralized prediction market to offer anonymous payments

I'm sorry but I just dont get this?

Its like a job or something or you lose?

after start augur, if i sold my rep will i still make money from fees?

No.  If you don't own REP and report as required, you wont receive any stipend.

If it is a simple case of, the more REP you have the more % of fees you will get, this will certainly help to hold the price and raise the price of REP.

Unlike Ethereum, which does not have anything holding the price, but Augur, the more rep you have the more you cna earn, this is a perfect way to keep a "coins" value long term, me likey!

Yes, if you fail to report, you will lose some REP, but if you do report, you will increase your REP by collecting a portion of those REP's from those who didn't report.

Looking forward to release.  Is there an Augur forum or where is the most communication?

The Augur team team will be speaking at the Devcon conference tonight.  There's a live stream.  I don't have the link because it doesn't pop up in my Google+ account until just before the speaking begins.  It will be somewhere on YouTube though.  I'm staying up late to watch it;  Augur will be one of the first to speak.  Program link here: http://devcon.ethereum.org/

Just so everyone knows, some of the team occasionally checks this forum but we mostly use http://reddit.com/r/augur as the primary community for communication and encourage everyone to stop by if interested.

Additionally, I was asked by Vitalik to speak at devcon but was unable to, my speech was unique as it was about marketing, an area that I feel many dapps have been not doing well in. Fortunately, I'm going to give a talk at my school (Oakland University) on November 17th, I'm planning to give the same talk, just with a longer introduction to the tech itself. The school is in Metro-Detroit and created an event page at https://orgsync.com/80128/events/1282308/occurrences/2871069, I'm working on getting someone to both livestream and archive it as I want everyone who attended devcon to be able to check it out.

I can also always be reached on my Twitter http://twitter.com/tonyswish and website http://tonysakich.com. My role at Augur has reduced since the end of the crowdsale but I'm still involved in the project and wanted to make everyone aware of how to contact me as much of my time is going to be diverted to other projects, so channeling the communication into a few channels make it much easier for me.

Thanks again for all of your support and interest!

Posted by Joey Krug on Augur Reddit. :

can update from the backend perspective of things. I posted an update a few weeks back here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Augur/comments/3tk233/augur_development_process/cx76oc0
I just updated the TODO list on the backend with the things that have been completed since the time of the post (you can view it in the link above). I've almost gotten "implement backstop one where everyone reports on a market/event" done and then I'm going to start on "implement forking." At that point, the core protocol will be more or less completely implemented on the backend sans various polishing and bug fixes.
So then I plan to refactor the code and remove various artifacts not necessary due to the old consensus algorithms and make it overall a bit tighter, cleaner, and simpler as well as write a test suite for the new consensus algorithm to test all the backstops (everyone reporting on an event and forking). Then after that, it'll be time for security audits!
The last blog post I made was on scaling things, and scalability is going quite nicely implementation wise. There probably won't be a technical blog post from me for a while since I'm focused on implementing things at the moment. However, Ryan has been making a flow diagram of the entire system from start to finish (including all the edge cases / backstops), which I think would be something useful to post once it's finished. So that'll probably be our next post (the diagram following the creation through resolution of any given market on Augur and what that all entails in fairly plain English).
As for the front-end / graphical-user-interface I try not to give predictions or dates about it because they tend to be quite wrong (it's very hard to estimate software release dates when you're developing the software, and nigh impossible when you're estimating software built by someone else). Although I don't mind giving estimates about my software Smiley, I estimate we'll have the first backstop implemented by the end of this week sometime and implementing forking will probably take another week or two. So I suppose the backend will be pretty much feature complete, although an ugly codebase, by Christmas! Although this doesn't really mean anything besides warm fuzzy feelings from both my and your perspectives since we can't actually see all this cool stuff yet! Smiley
For the front end, we've hired someone who used to work on InTrade's UI, and our UI will be migrating over to a more traditional (although sleek, simple, and beautiful) InTrade style UI (although a large part of this UI is already built, and there is an announcement (good news) surrounding this that should probably be made into a blog post or posted on Reddit). I honestly would not bet on it (the front end / UI beta) being done by Christmas. That said, the new UI is probably an order of magnitude better from a design (and implementation) standpoint, so we have that to look forward to, even though I see no way how it could possibly not be late at this point. I'd like to finish up this first backstop in the backend, then next week I'll write up a post on that announcement and add in some variant of the above and wrap it all up for an email update for people who don't check random reddit comment threads (presumably, most people Wink).

Great project!  Looks like you have a great team and the concept is fantastic - I like that it is like crowdsourcing the market and that decentralized predictions remove the possibility of manipulation and corruption.  The website looks nice and clean.  I will keep an eye on this project.

I love Bitcoin

Does anybody here in the forum know when Augur will go live?  Or, does anybody know when REPUTATION (REPS) will be offered on an exchange and what exchange we can find them offered.  Or, when the first reporting period will be for those who're already holding some Rep.  Any information one could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Beta should be released soon , the latest date gives was 'more than a week, less than a month' and that was 2-3 weeks ago now. Github estimates for the frontend it's about 190 hours of development, backend estimate is 160 hours of development..  The final full version will then be released some months after probably with REP being released some time soon before.
