I'm a new user, but this just happened to me.  Super frustrating as I'm not sure how to fix it or if it can be fixed.

https://blockchain.info/tx/2b90c59041a03fbbec2bf096de33d8dc4a00821df18dbc858d25a645af6326a7

it says transaction has a none standard input.  This was sent from someone else.

Thank you for any advice or assistance.

What wallet did you use to send this transaction?

Or if you are receiving this transaction from someone, then you need to contact them and let them know that their wallet (or service) has a bug that is generating non-standard signatures.

I can certainly contact the person who sent the coins and tell them that.

Can I tell them to do anything that will fix the issue? Will the coins eventually confirm into my wallet?

I know this has never happened to either one of us.

Again, many thanks for the advice

This was a transaction sent to me, but I can contact that person.

The same person sent me another transaction and it was confirmed right away.

Of course this means that this transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/bbf1a9ad65105c181dfd829aeeb5da44ec2fa3af10b57307edb29e50ff056a85

Which spent an output from that transaction from the OP.

Is no longer valid and will now never confirm.

Whoever sent transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/bbf1a9ad65105c181dfd829aeeb5da44ec2fa3af10b57307edb29e50ff056a85 will now need to resend their transaction.

WOW!!!!!!

You are absolutely amazing!!  It now has 2 confirmations.

One other thing, I had made another transaction and moved that coin elsewhere before those confirmations (I know probably not smart, but this has never happened before).  Will that transaction "catch up"?  Right now it says, "This transaction spends an input which is unconfirmed".

SO MANY THANKS for your help

So once there are enough confirmations I can resend this or how would I go about resending this transaction?

No need to resend anything!
This is not doublespending inputs  Grin
I've just fixed wrong der-encoding.

( In fact, I do think that the person who sent the original transaction did not want it to be confirmed  Cheesy
If you bought BTC from dealer - don't deal with him again in future )

No.

That other transaction will never confirm.  It is no longer valid.

The transaction ID of the original transaction has changed.  Therefore your transaction (that depended on the transaction ID of that original transaction) is invalid.

This is the main reason why it is considered a bad idea to spend bitcoins that haven't yet confirmed.  Due to transaction malleability prior to confirmation, there is potential that the transactionID could change.

Yes, now these are your coins if you are an owner of 1LKq3WNwc14WrABDTzHm2rVdF2gceMqZfP or 1DtXquujSxgpZ6sMMa9j1ccwX2UxcsUa86

Ok that was a little confusing, just some I'm clear (I know I'm slow, sorry for that).  I own 1LKq3WNwc14WrABDTzHm2rVdF2gceMqZfP, the transaction that was fixed now has 3 confirmations.  Once it gets a few more the BTC will show in my wallet.  Then I can resend the "next" transaction?

How do I resend that Tx if the coins aren't showing they're in my wallet.  I really do appreciate the assistance.

Or Will those coins reshow in my wallet, then I resend?

What wallet do you use?
Coins (3.98420537 BTC) are now in 1LKq3WNwc14WrABDTzHm2rVdF2gceMqZfP . Dont worry.
If you use blockchain.info wallet you... should wait while this service forget about tx

Ok, so it sounds like although it doesn't show up in my wallet 1LKq3WNwc14WrABDTzHm2rVdF2gceMqZfP, it's in there.  Now I can just go to "Send Money" and resend that Tx (https://blockchain.info/tx/bbf1a9ad65105c181dfd829aeeb5da44ec2fa3af10b57307edb29e50ff056a85)

Just wait while blockchain.info will show you right balance. Do not do anything.
You will be not able to "resend" https://blockchain.info/tx/bbf1a9ad65105c181dfd829aeeb5da44ec2fa3af10b57307edb29e50ff056a85
But you will be able to send your funds from 1LKq3WNwc14WrABDTzHm2rVdF2gceMqZfP to 19XCC1mLeeUBFVsCW5o1CzhLTygNVp5fJ again

Ok, Got it... Just hang tight.  It's already now at 5 confirmations.  Once my wallet shows the correct balance, I can proceed.

Many Thanks, hopefully my wallet updates soon so I can finish what I tried to start.
