The guy doesn't mention WU on the thread I think that's the mainly problem.

It's got nothing to do with the escrow. I don't want to do WU and I'm not looking to buy 1 or 2 btc at time.
Ideally, one or two bulk purchases with a deal.
I usually get a discount off bitstamp price when purchasing at least 10k USD worth of BTC from my normal supplier.
