Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It is about time you got going with the next story.

Is there a way to know if my story is going to be published/voted for at all?

Damn, I was hoping I would have my own story published, too bad.
BTW, I liked the first one better.

To my mind this one is best so far: http://cointelegraph.com/news/113082/the-payday-deposit

Can't believe it's about the present day - with the stupid restrictions of the banks we use.
The way out used by the author is sort of obvious but still cool.

And this one http://cointelegraph.com/news/113067/a-cautionary-tale-against-spontaneous-joint-bank-accounts sounds like a story of a friend of mine.

Well, not a very smart thing to do - what the author did. Should he really blame the bank for the results?

Well the bank could have been a bit more helpful, couldn't they?

Maybe but I would never share a bank account with someone this unreliable.

They're still slow, unhelpful and do not care much about the customers.
That is why I would rather use bitcoin.
