The only way gold goes up, is war.  Putin is uniquely positioned for starting a war, realizing huge gold profits.

maybe buying all those tbonds recently dumped by russia was part of the deal to get the gold.

Why you need war that Gold goes up? You need just financial crisis.

Rub lost a lot this year he should buy Gold last year.
