Is this shit even real?
Can they not see how this is going to fail.
or how it's going to succeed? stop being so delusional.
snapcash already has an established userbase of young people willing to take up new technologies, and it's easy to use unlike bitcoin
How is Bitcoin harder to use than snapcash?
1) The Myceilum wallet is easier to use than my banks app.
2) Circle app is self explanatory easy to use and insured against loss.(plus instant buy/sell)
3) Gyft app works great for using btc around town.
It's not that hard for new btc users anymore.....Any android smartphone user can quickly understand and start to buy/sell/spend in minutes.
1. snapcash is even easier to sign use - even teenagers already have accounts with snapchat. with snapcash all they need to do is link a debit card through square and that's that. you don't need to learn the vocabulary or concepts behind bitcoin.
2. you use $ in snapcash - no need to know the exchange rate, or have to buy any currency, or have to worry about fluctuations, or have to worry about merchants not accepting BTC
3. you can use a debit card in even more places around town
yes, you are right, bitcoin is getting easier to use, but the average user has no incentive to use it when they can just use regular money accepted everywhere. sure, they can get 3% or so off with gyft, but it is worth the hassle to your average joe?
snapcash seems like venmo - a easy way to transfer small amounts of money, except they already have a huge userbase. honestly a great decision from snapchat's part - i was honestly wondering how they'd monetize it (advertising doesn't really work since there's nothing to scroll through)
