What to expect from bitcoin in December 2014?

I do think we will see something happen before or just after christmas.

Hold your coins anyway, selling your coins now is a bad decision.

I know is a bad desicion sell now, but i need to invest that on a business...

To OP,

When did you first acquire the coins, at what price?

You have about $1000 worth, you need $300 more.

You could sell 2, keep the profits ($720). Hold the one and sell if it bounces to around 600 (Your extra $300ish).

If the coin drops to around $300, buy them cheap and ride them to the next bounce.

Expect price to go below 100 if the widely expected November rocket failed to launch.

Nahh we'll not see below 100 prices, but near there if indeed the hype fails yet again.

I have 3 bitcoins and need $1340 for last days of December, what to do?

My options.

A) Keep the bitcoins, the price will go up!
B) Invest in other coins, Doge and LiteCoin will go up!

Hold it looks like a good option now, maybe this week it hit $400.

I think you should not sell your bitcoin bitcoin and hold it until the price back up and stable, now you can sell or looking for additional work to earn money with the amount you want, hopefully in the near future you will get a job that will pay you a fee great ...

You are not the first one who have figured this out. Current price already factor in the expected demand.

But if speculation fails you will at least have warmth over all winter. In no case can this investment become totally worthless.

I recommend this option. I really think now is a very bad time to sell. We've just had a huge crash and are starting to recover, so if you sell now, you'll lose out on the rally. I think you should wait several months at least and see what happens. That's what I'm doing at least.

totally agree with this. people expect history to repeat itself in precise time-schedules. I've seen too many people whinging that last year's high hasn't been replicated this year, but that is just not how stocks and shares work. It may be many months before we see a heavy push upwards in price, but now is certainly not a good time to sell and it's evident from some of the overeager business endeavours like the GAW thing that's happening. GAW are playing on people's impatience, grabbing as much BTC, whilst trying to persuade people that they have a bigger better coin on the horizon.

I would say the price trend seems to be more flat then downward as it has traded in a somewhat narrow range for several months now.

I would say that option "B" would by far be the worst and is almost guaranteed to be a losing proposition both in terms of bitcoin and in terms of overall value

But mining is a hard business, if i can invest to get 1 btc / day by mining, i will do it, but invest 3 bitcoins to get 0.037 / day is not a good deal, because i will lose money with the electric charge.

My bitcoin sources are:

1.- Im moderator at Luckyb.it and i get tips for that (0.035 each 3 days aprox.)
2.- Coinurl and Adfly ( 0.025 btc / month) i use virwox to buy btc with my Adfly earnings.
3.- Gambling... i just can say im i luck guy, some times lose but i have won some big bets (0.5 btc biggest profit from gambling)

At start i use to gamble a lot, but now i dont do it like those days. I only gamble money what i feel ready to lose.
