That's not the only place difficulty adjustments are calculated, mudda...however, you are proving that you can do nothing but change one or two lines and clone a bunch of shit without actually taking the time to understand how everything really works. In case you are too dense to figure it out, difficulty is the 3.5's. Don't forget this had over 800 Terahash on it for several days. Many blocks were being found per second on very reputable pools. Do I really need to get more unaffiliated, trustworthy forum members and pool ops that were there at launch to come in here and vouch for the coin's fairness?

This is what someone who knows what they are doing to launch a fair coin that won't break does. I'll respond to this one since it's important, but then I'm really done in here because I've already addressed every bullshit concern way more than I should have. It's the same genesis block as MMXIV, which was launched in May. I used the genesis block that was used for the coin swap to a Proof of Stake chain, which has been discussed in the first few pages of the thread; there is no secret about it to anyone who does even the slightest research into the coins. This was done on purpose and not a mistake. If you compile yourself, the source makes Snowballs-Qt as being named MMXIV-Qt, which is also on purpose

We were throwing around ideas to merge the two chains into one, or play with side chains, but decided against it for now. Using the same genesis block for both coins allows us many options later that other coin pairs don't have. BALLS was never meant to get popular, the whole reason we even launched it was to use as a rewards program for customers of our staking hardware units, allowing them to stake both MMXIV and BALLS on a single $100 standalone device

While the retards drool, Spots has some real innovation happening here:

(1)  A standalone Raspberry Pi staking device is actually an interesting experiment...
Though I don't see why he doesn't just upload an image for a standard Pi...
But maybe he has plans to evolve this into into something bigger...
Once you get into smart cards and security devices... it gets real interesting real fast.

(2)  An ultra-stake coin launch before settling into a sustainable level...
Has turned out to be a terrific way to create a widely, fairly distributed LIQUID coin.

In spite of the usual crazies braying for blood...
After 3 weeks BALLS has 340 enthusiasts with > 1000 coins...
And the Top 10 owns about 40%... with the Top 20 owning 50%.

That could easily be tweaked in endless ways... to produce more desirable distributions.
