Fifa 14 .........aiting to buy 15.
Let me know how it is. I am thinking about buying FIFA 15 as well.
Sorry, I'll make a small list of the companies I won't buy from anymore to help you:
Electronic Arts
Ubisoft
Activision
Blizzard
Sony Online Entertainment
Actually, it's really only these five companies that have managed to piss me off so much lately, I don't like Valve's DRM but at least it works most of the time and I just avoid those stupid freemium games that are blatantly spawning everywhere so meh but the amount of destruction in the games industry they've caused is ridiculous considering.
Can you explain how they pissed you off and why you won't buy from them anymore? Details on each company would be awesome.
Seriously? Well you asked for it
Electronic Arts - Infested games with DRM, were pushing for very invasive always-online DRM until they were shut down by a lawsuit ( yes this actually happened ), they bought out games companes that were much more successful and popular than they were like Bioware or Westwood Studios and then shat all over their franchises, they are general douchebags and forum nazis the people who are in this company genuinely treat gamers with complete contempt in their interviews and in announcements.
Sony Online Entertainment - For me this is an extremely personal one, look up Star Wars: An Empire Divided, they took that wonderful game idea and then butchered it completely to compete with WoW, this one didn't affect me so much but it has others, they turned Planetside 2 into another bullshit micro-transaction freemium game
Ubisoft - Well known for piling tons of DRM and intrusive software onto their games and being particularly obnoxious about it
Activision - Yet again another company that spams DRM everywhere, I'm less aggressive towards them even though they make a rather mediocre game series but I won't buy their shit
Blizzard - Very invasive DRM, kinda ruined Starcraft's art style and turned the game rather cartoony ( As an artist this annoyed me because this kind of thing really gets in your face when you've been practicing art for a while ) and decided instead of making a full game they would split the game up into three seperate parts and they had the balls to sell the parts for the price of a full game, Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War were complete games and you could play all three races.
Funny thing is about the Starcraft 2 games, I swear they were meant to be one full game, not just because I remember the originals but they actually seemed quite short.
