I believe the volcano is now not being made.  I think they are pushing for you to use zeushash (I could be wrong).

A2 is great on efficiency.   Make sure to do ROI math as a lot of thee 1k watt for 30 mhz gear is about obsolete.

I would go with a proven and known unit -- the A2 Terminator is the best out there.  It is durable, reliable and the price has come down.  This unit comes with a PSU built in and Raspberry Pi controller.  So you only need your internet connection.

I'm not sure where you are located -- but in the US you can find these units on Ebay for about $1300 -- 88Mh/s -- consuming about 850 watts.

Definitely steer clear of Zeusminer as they have gone cloud and the new units never materialized.  Their older units (X6's) are pretty cheap on Ebay - but not efficient.

There is the Hashra Astro unit that is supposed to be coming out in December and it is cheap.  But it is hard to say what will happen on this, as it was scheduled to be released in October.  The unit does not come with a PSU (add $100) or Raspberry Pi (add $50).

In the US there is a company offering the units (I guess you would say pre-order) -- for $495 (with shipping included) and you can pay via Paypal (aka Credit Card) so you have some protection.  I definitely would not wire money or pay with Bitcoin for this unit.

The Hashra Astro (@ 100Mh/s and around 700 watts) is the only new product I know of coming out --- if it does show up.  Time will tell as there are only renderings of the unit, but again if you can pay with Paypal / Credit Card - then your risk is small.

When it comes to ROI -- that is a whole other story - lol.

If you are new to mining, try an Antminer. Those are really good if you want to make profit.
Other wise just go with CloudMining (very risky).

If I had to, I'd recommend genesis-mining because of all the reviews & the fact that it pays out AND hasn't collapsed yet.

Cloud Mining at LTCgear is definetly more profitable then buying a miner Smiley you might want to check it out, saves you the trouble of electricity costs and monitoring the miner aswell.

Not to create a big 'ole drama --- but --- I find it quite funny - that the ones telling you to "cloud mine" at a particular company, also have an affiliate link in their signature.

Watch out for cloud mining.  Some charge these so called "maintenance fees" and then the big thing is what guarantee do you have that the company will be around the next day, week or month?

I'm not saying it is all bad -- as I'm sure there are a zillion posts already arguing the point and if they are ponzi schemes, etc. -- but just watch out and ask yourself -- "Will I lose too much money if they close shop tomorrow?"

If you don't want to mine yourself -- then just buy coin.
