Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

It's not "officially" dead until the "official" author declares it so.

I'm sure there will be a few keeners that will be around to support it even if it is launched in 6 months.

I'm into creating universes, smiting people, writing holy books and listening to prayers.

This topic is FUD. No one declared anything except the irrelevant OP, which doesn't mean anything.
If this were a movie, it's the part where the hero assumes the villain is dead, and is shot in the back as he turns away.

It's not FUD, there's very strong evidence that Solidcoin Officially Shutting Down

~BCX~

I'm curious to know who took a fat dump today on BTC-e.com with a bunch of SC.

I also wonder too who it was.

As far as I know it was TimothyA, cause he was left out and SC devs told him nothing.
They kept him in the dark, he got angry and dumped lots of coins. He's says he can do it again. I guess he has few coins then.
